Small restaurant on side of the convenience store that my husband and I stopped at for a quick bite to eat. Had a good little crowd and we were told to sit wherever we liked. Salsa and chips were brought out immediately and we ordered drinks from the bar. After bringing our drinks we went ahead and ordered our food. It was a while before we got our food, which is understandable because they were busy. But some of my items had been left off and I had to ask for them. And then it took forever to get our check!!! Drinks were good, food was ok and service was slow but hey...we left full!!!

We recently visited on a trip to the Ritz Carlton. We always make time for a meal at BP Mexican… aka El Agave.

The service was phenomenal. Always great there. The skinny margaritas hit the spot and the food is excellent.

Our only minor gripe is the ground beef could be leaner or higher quality. Pro tip, order the steak or asada!

Don't let the front of this restaurant scare you away. The food is spectacular. Everything that we had was just delightful. Fajitas for two, chips and salsa, cheese dip, and sopapia's - all great... The flavors were good. The adult beverages came with a frozen mug and the staff was awesome as well...

Oh my goodness...we just moved to the area and I've been missing Mexican food like we had while we were living in Mexico. I've tried a couple of the other Mexican restaurants in the area and they are all okay...but El Agave? They are the real deal. I walked in and immediately felt like I was back in Mexico. The food is absolutely perfectly perfect. I brought my son here on Friday and we're already back again on Monday with the rest of the family.

If you want that real, authentic, home cooking, this is your place. Hands down incredible.

Exactly how a mex place should be! Not ritzy , bare minimum decor in the dining area , next to a gas station (BP) , employee’s kids running around. Def coming back

Nice, quick and friendly atmosphere, family operated. They have delicious soup, taco salad and my new favorite mushroom, spinach, grilled chicken quesadilla! Absolutely love this restaurant
