We hired Eighty Eight Catering for the grand opening of our latest infusion center. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The pricing was more than reasonable, and the staff was incredibly personable, adding a delightful touch to the event. Their positive energy made the open house even more enjoyable, and we received numerous compliments from our guests. We highly recommend them!

The staff at 88 Catering were incredibly kind and attentive. The food was delicious and catered to our dietary restrictions! In contrast to this though the food during the tasting did not fully match the food we had at the event.

This place was great when it was Special Occasions. Since the transition to 88 Catering, we've had many issues. When they didn't bring enough food for our Thanksgiving meal (a free meal for senior citizens in our county), they made it right and delivered to those who did not receive a meal due to the shortage. Since they made it right we gave them another chance and recently had a chicken bbq fundraiser with them. We've had a long list of complaints. Portions were uneven, with some only receiving a leg while others received larger portions. Many complained their chicken was pink and they wouldn't eat it or even give it to their dog. They say they sous vide the chicken and then put it on the smoker. If it is properly cooked, there should not be pink on the inside or blood visible. When we contacted 88 Catering to let them know we were receiving numerous complaints, they brushed us off stating "they were just not the catering company for us and good luck in future events." They refuse to work out any resolution for the complaints. Nearly half of the people who purchased meals are on our complaints list. This meal was supposed to be a fundraiser for our senior activities program.
Highly UNSATISFIED with the food and lack of customer service from this company. Do not book with this company.

Update: It won't let me do a response so I'm updating here.
When the company was Special Occasions it was always 1/2 a bbq chicken. We did miss at the bottom of 1 email where the original contact for the company stated a smaller portion size (Had to hunt this down because it was back in March from someone who may not even work there anymore. Only mention we could find of it). We did miss that because every year we've done this fundraiser it has been 1/2 a chicken. BUT portion sizes were still visibly different from box to box. If that was the only issue, I would not have left this review. Many received meat that was pink, so pink that dozens of different people noticed and said they could not eat it. We received so many calls and in person complaints that we did post on Facebook that if anyone was unsatisfied they should reach out to us. We still had some who had large portions that were cooked and they liked it. That's why our complaint list isn't 100 long.
I left this review because of your lack of concern when we told you we were receiving numerous complaints and the responses you gave us.

Eighty Eight Catering did an amazing job for my September wedding! I was originally planning to use Special Occasions, but was then bought by Eighty Eight. They honored my prices and went above and beyond my expectations. The ribs, chicken, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and green beans were perfect. There were large portions and we had large amounts of leftovers. I am still having compliments on the food weeks after our wedding. The menu was great, food was hot, and staff was kind. I would recommend them to all weddings in the area!

I reached out to Eighty Eight catering for a small 40 person event. We had a very small budget and they were able to provide a delicious meal for our event that met our budget criteria. Excellent customer service! I will consider Eighty Eight Catering for all my future catering needs!
