We are fairly new to the area, so we wanted to eat and so we choose Eggberts to eat at. I have ate there 3 other times. Everything was great. Service, food, cleanliness of the restaurant. The lady I was with order her food, then I ordered mine shortly after. The waitress brought us our food. My was great. The other ladies eggs was not cooked the way she asked for them. They was over easy with the whites not done. The slimmy stuff was running out. She asked for over med. The smoked sausage she got was burnt. So she asked the waitress if she could get sausage links instead and replace the eggs with ones cooked the way she asked for. She brought the sausage out, then another lady brought the eggs, I'm guessing she's one of the cooks. She asked her if the eggs was done. My friend replyed I don't know until I cut into them. I asked have you cooked eggs over med before? I didn't know if it was her first day. She turned around with the plate walked off and she through the plate into the busting tub. I did not see this, but I sure herd the plate hit. Then the waitress came by and I told her we was not gonna pay for her messed up food that the lady did not, and would not eat. I asked for the mgr. She was standing close by all ready. The mgr. was one of the ladies whom had served me before when I ate there before. Very nice lady. We explained what happened and showed them all the eggs and sausage. I told her I would pay for mine and the biscuit and gravy she had ate on. By this time there is 4 people standing around the table. The mgr. said that's fine and don't come back. No problem. I won't be back. I know personaly working in the food business is very hard sometimes and no the customers are not always right. But this time the customer was right. I was told I was disrespectful by asking the question. My apology to the cook for asking the question. My friend was waiting on the bench for me to bring the car around, the mgr., the waitress gathered around the front register and made the comment if I was that old I would know how to order my eggs. My friend said did order them they way I like them. Then the mgr closed the second door going into the restaurant. I guess they didn't realize she was sitting there or maybe they just didn't care. To the owner of this business. I'm sure you back your staff 100% and that's great but I'm asking respectfully to address this with your mgr on duty and the other employees that needed to stand in on the conversation. I will not recommended anyone to eat here. It's really sad because you have a great restaurant, the food I have eaten has been great, the staff has always been very friendly and kind. I'm sure my few dollars will not make a difference. But the way your staff acted tonight will make differnce. Very disappointed and very disrespected.

I’ve been coming here for over 2 years and the food and service is always on point! Jaymee was our server today and she already knew what we were eating and drinking before we did, she is awesome and deserves a big raise! She goes above and beyond for her customers and it shows, she’s a big asset to Eggberts!

Ordered a bowl of soup & the cup it came in is not even full. We are barely over half the 16 oz cup. I love your soup but I’m not paying $10 for 8 oz of soup anymore 😔

Fast service, really reasonable prices and WAY better than average diner food. The steak that came with the Rancher's breakfast was cooked just right and well-seasoned. (I find that seeing how a restaurant handles a breakfast steak is a great test of how seriously they handle ALL their food).

Always packed but no one waits too long.

Ordered take out of 2 cheeseburgers and 2 orders of fries. Ordered cooked well done. What we got was burgers that were raw,you couldn't even eat the outside of the patty without getting slimy cold meat and the fries were not even cooked through. This has happened the last 3 times we've ordered take out, if you're going to use frozen meat, at least throw it in a microwave to make sure it's cooked thru! NEVER AGAIN!!

I just got my food delivered to me through DoorDash. The fries weren’t cooked all the way through and the chicken fried steak was practically inedible. I couldn’t even chew it down and had to spit it out. This place used to be so good. What happened?

The food was great (except no jelly for my toast), but service not so much. There were 4 waitresses standing behind the counter - one was leaving, one with dark hair was taking her prescription medication right there at the counter and looked stoned. No one acknowledged me as I stood there - not even the one leaving who walked right by me. The one taking meds just looked at me. Finally I went up and asked for my to go order and the one with blonde hair and glasses looked totally confused by my ask. My food had been just setting there and she walked right by it without checking it and instead went back to ask cook. The other waitress, shorter woman, seemed to be the only one actually working. This is why I don't like leaving tips on my mobile order, because it was definitely not deserved!

Cash only transactions. Food and decor were good. Service was pretty good and waitress was attentive. Slight wait for food even though we just had soup. Prices were slightly above average. Right on Route 66!!
