We only ate at the restaurant and did not stay at the resort. The food at the restaurant was outstanding--one of the best meals I've had in a while. We had sausage and schnitzel and pretzels during our two visits there. Really good. I especially enjoyed the pork cutlet schnitzel with mushroom bacon sauce. Yum. The cucumber salad was delicious, and the potatoes were really good. The food here is top notch and worth the $20 (give or take) per plate. The service was really good, too. Our server was a member of the family who owned the place, and she was patient and very polite. Good service, fair price, and outstanding food. We will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Our server was incredible, and she had a thick German accent! This place was recommended by another fisherman. He stated it was the most authentic German fare he's ever had outside of Germany! He was absolutely correct, and it was delicious and fresh. The beer was incredible, too!! Mind blowing selection. Next time I'm getting a room. This needs to be your next dinner when visiting Greer

I visited the restaurant after doing a search and realized that this is a resort. It was a really good location and nice ambience. The food is primarily based on German and Hungarian recipes. It was very tasty and we received excellent service.

We didn't stay here, only had dinner. And it was DELICIOUS German food. Very friendly staff too.
Kids menu was perfect. The pretzel is giant and very good. This will be on our list for every visit to Greer. You have to try this place!

OMG!!!! The pictures don’t do it justice! The rooms are absolutely gorgeous the food is as good as I expected since Edelweiss Biergarten in Phoenix was owned by these owners. I needed a short getaway to recharge the batteries and do some fishing on the Little Colorado River. I’m absolutely in heaven

It was clean, but the food was less than par. If you're looking to experience true authentic German fare, this isn't the restaurant. Everything we ordered was old and deep fried. Seemed as though it had been frozen as well. I didn't even eat my whole entree.

This was my 5th time staying at one of the cabins at Edelweiss and every time has been great! The cabins are very comfortable, clean and cozy. The lodge itself is beautiful and their restaurant has delicious, fresh cooked food. And their staff is superb! I have never met a more friendly, kind, and helpful group of people anywhere! I will most definitely be going back and if you are thinking about visiting Greer I can't think of a better place to stay. A big THANKS to Edelweiss for making our vacation perfect! Oh, and our cat and dog loved it too.

Our room, 204, was large and clean. It had a nice seating area and large bathroom with tub and shower. The patio was lovely where we had drinks. And the area is really beautiful. And COOL. We were so happy to be at 8900 ft elevation and 70° afternoon temp. The dining room was deserted (and yes, just one woman doing all the attending). We made a reservation for Molly Butlers which was a nice dining experience.
