Will never stay here again! This hotel is overpriced, unsafe, and in terrible conditions! When we checked into our room, there were no towels, the soap in the shower was used, and the toilet seat was dirty. When we asked for towels, the towels we received were stained and had hairs on them. There were blood stains on the walls. When we turned on the TV, a pipe fell down from behind the TV. The glass covering the picture frame on the wall was broken. There was a stream of water leaking from the upstairs tub and coming down through the bathroom ceiling. The whole bathroom flooded! When we told the reception, their explanation was that the person upstairs was showering with the curtain outside of the tub. Everything about this hotel was a nightmare!

The best hotel in this area for sure, but still not all that. They have a pest problem and their sheets and towels are all stained. Wi-Fi does not work inside the rooms and some rooms the TV doesn't work. Not all of the lights were working and the water didn't get hot enough. Staff steals so if you can always have someone in the room, do that. They will harass you about cleaning but they don't clean themselves. The owner is great though, I would imagine his staff lies to him a lot because the way he carries himself I don't think he has an evil bone in his body. He's kind and honest. I'm sure he trusts his staff to be cleaning and doing repairs properly and probably doesn't know how poorly they actually do their jobs. I would stay there again if I'm in the area, I would just bring my own cleaning supplies and linens and my camera so I can catch them the next time they try to steal from me.

I've stayed at motels my friends said. It'll be fine they said.||WRONG. It wasn't fine.||I get it, it's a motel, but if you're going to let be a dump then post real photos of the way you keep the place. There were water stains and mold growing on the ceiling a walls of the two rooms that we reserved. 2 of us checked in waited about 30 minutes for our friends to get there. One room smelled moldy so we moved to the next. Our friends got there, changed clothes then we headed out to our dinner reservations before our concert. ||While changing my friends checked their beds and discovered the dirty and likely unchanged sheets. On our way out I stopped at the front office, told the manager we were leaving for dinner and a concert and that the sheets in Rm 217 were dirty. I asked him to please change the sheets while we were gone till probably 11 pm - 12 am.||When we got back and started unpacking and getting ready to shower and unwind to go to bed we finally took a really good look at things. The bathroom area and the bathrooms of bottom Rm 216 and 217 were actually gross. Not livable gross but I need to get out of here gross. There were water stains and mold on both the ceiling and the walls. There was blistered paint and sagging wall paper. There was even crusty poop left on the inside of the toilet bowl in Rm 216. ||We decided to leave. Went downstairs, rang the manager and told him there was no way we were staying. I recounted all the disgusting features of his motel to him. His response to me was, why didn't you mention this early when you checked in. I told him because all we really did when we got his was change and leave, we didn't look around except to check the sheets. His next response was, well it's so noticeable, it's been like that for a long time. WHAT?! That's your response? ||I've written Choice Hotels, the parent company to Econo Lodge. Their only response an email offering me a free one night stay in another Econo Lodge. Un acceptable. I am for sure escalating this to another level. Reporting to the Health Department.||

I arrived to this hotel with my Lyft driver telling me to be very careful of the area. That made me nervous as I was staying by myself, but there were no issues during my stay.

The hotel room was very clean and had a comfortable bed. The bed did appear clean as well. The room was spacious and had a small fridge to store food. The bathroom had hot water and overall did not seem to have any issues. Staff wasn't terrible, but wasn't above and beyond either. They did their job and did not do much beyond that.

I did miss the breakfast, so can't comment on it. They do however serve some type of breakfast.

Overall I would stay here again because of the cleanliness, comfort, and overall price paid.

My overall stay was good. Internet was fast. Enough parking. There were some problems. At check in the door to the front lobby was locked and it took about 10-15 minutes for the manager to open the door. I understand he may have been busy, but there was no sign indicating he was away. Plus, it was very hot outside. When I went into my room there were no small hand towels of any kind. The only towels that were there were 2 large towels. The fire alarm kept beeping throughout the night. I tried to take out the batteries, but there were non inside and it was connected to the wall somehow. I also did not receive any room service when I returned to my room the 2nd day. I also had the blinds open to indicate no one was in the room. I was also looking forward to breakfast in the morning at 6am, however at 6:40am nothing was set up. There was no breakfast. The hotel staff must have overslept. Anyways, despite all of those problems, I still made the most of it and told myself it was just a safe place to sleep.

In general, this motel seems to be a well-kept budget motel. The room and bathroom were generally clean and attractive. The heating worked well and was quiet. The refrigerator and microwave worked fine. The lighting was good, but it was all ceiling lighting (no bedside or desk lamps). The vanity area was well-lighted. The mattress was firm. We did not hear noise from other rooms but could hear people talking outside. Did not hear any road noise. There were no strange smells. The breakfast was average for a motel of this class – waffles, cereal, breads, fruit. On the downside, I was surprised to find that all of the towels had stains on them. (Fortunately I looked at them before settling into the room.) However, the manager (Sam) quickly replaced them at my request. At my husband’s request, he also supplied a coffee maker for the room. He gets extra points for being very accommodating and gracious. I would stay here again, but as with all (especially budget) motels, I would check things out in the room before settling in.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times in the last couple of years. The rooms are kind of updated and they are fine for their usual rates. Housekeeping is generally very nice, but the front desk isn't always welcoming or nice. The towels are pretty old, thin and grey, and when they don't run out of certain towels, they are fine. ||||They were very strict on the check in time even when there were rooms apparently ready. For one visit, I got to the property around 1 PM, so I asked if I could check in early. I was told there are no rooms ready and told me to come back at 3 PM, which is fine. I sat in the car for two hours until check-in started. I did not see a single housekeeping staff entering or exiting any of the rooms in at least half of the property during the two hours I waited. They assigned all the rooms before you arrive and had all the paperwork printed out. My room was assigned and ready when I asked for an early check in.||||My car has never been broken into, which is worth noting in San Bernardino. Uber may have trouble finding the location if you put the hotel name in the pick up location.||||I booked three stays in 2019 way in advance to get good rates. One reservation (the first of three) was randomly canceled with no explanation. ||||I got an email (months before the check in date) stating that my reservation was canceled at my request. I DID NOT REQUEST A CANCELLATION. I looked to see if the hotel was overbooked and they dropped my reservation because I had such a good rate for booking early. There are many King rooms left at a higher rate for the same dates. ||||I don't know why my reservation was canceled. I am a Platinum Member and even that doesn't help guarantee a reservation when there are plenty of rooms available. Now I am afraid to book this hotel because apparently they cancel random reservations for no reason. ||||I would have given a rating of 3 or 4, and was obviously willing to return multiple times. However, because of this random cancellation, I have no confidence that my reservation will be honored.

Recently renovation (may still be on going) meant that rooms were very clean as of 2017 November. It was fine enough to stay for the weekend and the staff treated the customers great. Closest eating place was In & Out. I wouldn't really want to be walking out and about at night in the area, but everything seemed mellow I was the day time hours.

It's a motel, so don't go crazy expecting something amazing and you should be good. I've stayed at places much worse that we're supposed to be much better.
