I live in Florida and before a hurricane I had to make an emergency run to north Carolina, tried to go straight there and home and didn't quite make it. Ended up pulling into this hotel at some unreasonably late hour and they were so kind helping me book their only open room.

The morning came and we were up and out the door trying to beat the hurricane home and again the desk staff was so kind, she wished us safe travels (after, rightfully, calling us crazy and showing us the forecast).

I couldn't have asked for an easier and more polite experience while dealing with the stressors I had at the time. Thank you guys for being awesome!

And to the front desk lady, we didn't quite beat the storm but we did make it home 🫡

For just needing a bed this was fine. Don't expect anything else. The breakfast had the waffle iron and the syrup full but no batter. The eggs and biscuits looked like they had been there for hours ( it was 8am) and they were rock hard. Room had the paint peeling from the ceiling. Had to plug in the ac to even use it. Floor was so dirty is left our feet black. Don't expect to use the shampoo because it looked horrendous. Prices of the ceiling outside our door was missing.

However, it was a nice surprise the room didn't smell of mildew. Probably because the ac wasn't plugged in and running.

The staff of this hotel has been awesome Katrina and her husband have been excellent. I recently had surgery and they have been beyond helpful. I am an advocate of customer service from coast to coast and believed it had been forgotten in Georgia and South Carolina. I specialize in customer service it is what I do to make a living and these two people and their talent is what makes this hotel work.

This is absolutely the worst motel I have ever been to. I got a room number, but when I went to the room after the key wouldn't work I noticed someone in the room. She told me I read the wrong number After checking in I went to the room and it smelled very strongly of bleach and the floor was slimy. Ceiling texture coming off, mold, and tiles falling in bath. Furniture was falling apart. I pulled the sheets back and the mattress was badly stained. I also found a notice of all second floor and stairs condemned since October of 2023. The ceiling outside the room was open with electrical wiring hanging down. T.V didn't work and ac wouldn't come on. I rented on Expedia but they don't even have any record of that. I can't believe this property is even allowed to rent these rooms in this condition. Very poorly managed property. DO NOT STAY HERE

Horrible experience I suggest you never stay here. The clerk was rude and negatively suggestive. When I ask was it a bad area he said no. I asked because everything was locked down. I was never allowed in the lobby locked out in the foyer treated like a criminal. I slid my credit card through a small window. We went and checked the room and it was horrible it was dirty something was smeared on the wall it smelled no way could we stay there. When I went back to tell him we wanted a refund he reprimanded me on how I slid the card through the window and gave me a speech about how's that was rude in the south. Excuse me for trying to get the card through a slot. He asked why we wanted a refund I politely told him the website and the sign out side both said remodeled which was a complete lie. The room was dirty and dated. I was being kind because I felt like he could have been rude or confrontational. He told me it would be 7-10 days before we could get a refund at this point I didn’t care if we got a refund or not no way would I stay there.

Had a late decision on this hotel and reserved a room. While the front desk agent, Mary, was very nice, the remainder of the stay was a total disaster. First the TV had no access to channels and when I spoke to Mary she called the on duty maintenance person who asked her to look in a 'drawer' for a connector box to hook up to the TV. They did not have the box available but the expectation was that I would take it to the room and connect it myself. Strike One; I didn't pay for a room that I was required to perform maintenance upon. At that point, Mary offered to change to a room where the TV was working but I was tired and, while I appreciated the offer, let her know that I just wanted to go lay down and go to sleep. Well, the room adjacent to mine decided that they would have a party with lots of loud talking and music and reeking of a marijuana smell. Too tired to want to go to the office again, I just tried to go to sleep. Strike Two. I wasn't able to get to sleep until 5am when I guess the party died down. Awakening around 8am, still tired, I went to the main office to follow up on Mary's notes left for the day manager. She listened to my synopsis of the occurrences, including the noise and drug usage. She stated she had no power to do anything about any sort of discount and would call a manager who was off-site. Well, this manager asked me why I declined the offer to change rooms and when I stated that I was just too tired and wanted to get some sleep she stated that since I chose not to change rooms that they would not be doing anything to rectify any of the situations I had to endure. Strike Three. I work in the Hospitality business as a chef and deal with providing great experiences to guests on a daily basis. This location has ZERO understanding of hospitality not customer service. Even after hearing of my situation, this onsite representative said nothing to acknowledge the current drug usage happening next to my room that I was still currently staying in. She did nothing to acknowledge the noise pattern and did nothing to try in anyway to make me feel comfortable about the matter. All she did was continue to reiterate that since I declined the change of rooms that they weren't going to do ANYTHING to address my uncomfortable situations. As if somehow that releases their responsibility for their business, their guest's safety nor their responsibility for the operations on their property. I would never recommend this location for anyone who appreciates a clean, safe place to get a room for an overnight stay. Obviously, if you are seeking a place to have a party, drink all night, make as much noise as you want and smoke marijuana without regard to anyone else, then this is the place for you. I am not through with making notation of this matter and will find all available outlets to leave reviews for this terrible operation. They have no understanding of the impact of their inability to address a guest's concerns can ripple following a failed experience.....and no hot water on top of all of this. Ridiculous. Do not waste your money here.

I called to make a reservation. We have stayed at this location many times, we have recommended this location to friends and family many times. I have never been treated so rude from a business in my whole life. Two people hung up on me before they could answer my question. The third person answered my question, then just rudely hung up. I called to complain, Daniel was very nice and understanding. I don't think we will ever stay at this location again.

Don't bother staying here. They up charge rooms even after booking. The 2nd floor was condemned for safety reasons when I stayed. Rooms weren't cleaned/falling apart. And when you talk with the manager to bring notice, she yells at you and claims you're not respecting her hotel.
