I go there one time and get the Hercules pita and it was giant and it was delicious. I just went a second time and when I went to pick it up, it was a tiny little pita I asked the lady making it if it was the Hercules and she said yeah the pitas are in always the same size then what the heck am I paying for Hercules for? I bought it again because it was a good deal because it was huge the first time that don’t make no sense if it’s a smaller pita, and it ain’t a Hercules size don’t use it. I ain’t coming back cause it ain’t worth the money if it’s gonna be small sometimes.

DELICIOUS vegan options! We stopped in with a couple vegans and meat eaters. The meals were huge, fresh, and very tasty.
They offer so many vegan things (proteins, toppings, sides, sauces) and the prices were extremely reasonable. The staff are so sweet and helped us decide on the best meals. We’ll be back next time we’re in Louisville!

UPDATE it's been almost a month and no one has reached out or returned my calls regarding a refund.

On Monday night my husband and I ordered two gyros and when we got home to eat, halfway through eating we noticed a smell and odd taste. We looked at the pita bread the gyros came on and they were completely molded over. We don't understand how the employee who assembled this gyro did not notice the black and green mold all over the bread and continued to make our food with it. I have sent emails and called and left voicemails and no one has reached out. Non existent customer service. We used to love eating here, but after getting served MOLDED FOOD and the restaurant not caring enough to reach out to us with a refund is ridiculous. Never going here again.

This was our first time here which came with a lot of questions. We were served by the owner and he was very patient while explaining the dishes. Food was great and the serving sizes on the smalls were larger than expected.

The man in the bun was EXTREMELY rude to not only customers but both employees who were there. We were here for a friends birthday and all had a bad experience, I’ll definitely be driving to the bardstown rd location even if it’s out of the way. The food also was just straight up not good and no one seemed to know what was going on. It’s not hard to be nice to your customers who are choosing to spend money with you, because now they’re definitely not going to. Even the way the owner talks to customers who leave reviews on here shows how unprofessional they are. Go anywhere else.

We are longtime fans of Eat a Pita from going to the Highlands location. This was our first time at the Middletown location and it was just as if not more exceptional. The owner prepared our order and showed us incredible kindness and service, and the food was delicious!

The owner and restaurant manager Moe. Isn't it outstanding down to earth reasonable man. And he actually uses real lamb me and the food is made Mediterranean style and it's legitimately like grandmother's recipes!! I will definitely go back but I would like to see him get more desserts!!

***in response to the owner***
I reiterate, you cannot work in the food industry if you do not know what the words “allergy” or “gluten” mean. There is a difference between saying no pita, and having an allergy to gluten. Gluten can be cross contaminated and needs to be handled with care. Telling someone “no bread” is not sufficient handling for allergies. It’s horrifying the owner of a restaurant doesn’t know this either. This can cause serious harm.

I told the employee several times, I have a gluten allergy, and he said he understood. I had to ask him to change his gloves, and after making my meal, he put a pita on top of it. I told him I can’t have gluten because I’m allergic for the tenth time, and he asks me after everything, “what’s allergy mean? What’s gluten?”

You CANNOT work in the food industry and not know what the word allergy means.
