Eagles Roost RV Resort – Amazing Hospitality & Beautiful Grounds (10/10)

Eagles Roost is one of those campgrounds that truly stands out—not just for its beauty but for the kindness of its owners. After the devastation of Hurricane Helene, they generously let us stay for free, showing just how much they care about their guests. That kind of hospitality is rare and so appreciated!

The campground itself is in a fantastic location, close to restaurants, stores, and the scenic lakes of Lake Park, GA. The sites are spotless, with concrete pull-through pads that make setup a breeze. The public bathrooms and showers are some of the cleanest we’ve seen, which is always a huge plus.

Full hookup amenities make for a comfortable stay, and there’s even a pool—a great way to cool off and relax! One of the unique perks is the neighboring flea market—busy but full of charm, with fresh fruits, vegetables, and unique finds. The entire atmosphere is welcoming, and everyone we met, from staff to fellow campers, was incredibly friendly.

We only setup at the Flea Market attached to the RV Park. Sunday was our busiest day. Lots of Vendors setup and lots of Bargains to be found . I bought a few Tomato plants and zucchini plants at reasonable prices from the Produce booth up front.

This rv resort can be so much more with some investment. My concrete super site was somewhat unlevel from front to back. The area around the cracked concrete pad was super sandy and unkept. Dead oak tree limbs/branches over hanging the site were a concern. Bathhouses were clean. Conveniently located off Interstate 75, however, loud Interstate traffic noise non stop. Fresh water hookup had a light brown appearance.

The RV park has been ravaged by the hurricanes over the last several years including Helene. They lost many trees and damaged the rest of them. The RV park is a great location for overnight stays if you're traveling to Florida or back north due to being close to the highway. It has a small pool, swing set shuffle board and etc. which are old and not maintained. Overall it is a good place to stop overnight on your way through to your final destination.

Over priced Staff is a bit nosie
But does have a 24 hour launch?A mat which is clwash machine and it smells good and it's only two dollars a load to wash or dry

This was a good campground for an over night stay, close to 75 so traffic noises could be an issue for some. Good water pressure with full hook up. Sites are small, signage is not good; had no clue where the exit was nor did finding our site easy. Pool closed at 430pm; it’s very small but looked nice. Cute gift shop with unique things.

We love to stop here, on our way north or going back home, peaceful, level sites with full hook ups very convenient location, a lot of space to walk our dogs after hours of traveling. |Sites are always clean, check in is easy, staff is gentle, that’s why without hesitation we book here as we plan our trips.

Our first time traveling with an RV and the Eagle Roost was easy in and out, all hookups, WiFi that actually worked, pet friendly, staff was very friendly and professional and very quite and peaceful stay. Yeah us!!!
