Course was in a great shape! Guy working was very urgent to get our carts paired up with the single who was joining our group. The course was wide open as far as play goes and we felt rushed getting ready at the clubhouse before the round. Will be back but thought that was unusual!

Eagle Mountain is one of my favorite courses to play in the area, with well-designed holes, beautiful views and forgiving fairways throughout.
On my latest visit on November 25, 2024, however, the conditions were sub-par, with many brown patches on the course and bumpy greens, definitely not the level of care we expect at this fantastic course.
I sure hope they make a comeback, because it would be a shame for such a beautiful course to keep going downhill.

Recently played Eagle Mountain on a golf trip to Arizona and was very disappointed to say the least. Although the course had a great atmosphere and friendly staff, the conditions of the golf course were below average to say the least. Not manicured or looked after at all. A $200 round worth more like $60. Very unfortunate as we were mislead by the beautiful pictures on the website.

Eagle Mountain is one of my favorite courses in the Valley and I was excited because our 9-hole league was playing there today. Great layout!!! I hate to report that the course was in SAD shape and the prices were excessive. We were charged about $90 each to play 9 holes at 3pm on Wednesday. There was no starter, no golf tees, no ball markers provided at the first tee. There were No water bottles, towels, GPs or club washer on the carts. There were No ball washers or ranger on the course nor any cups for drinking out of at the coolers on the course. The greens were fuzzy and slow. The fringe had several muddy bald spots with tire tracks. The course had several brown spots and the course was very soggy in front of every green. We only saw the beverage cart once. Rachel in the bar was fantastic and Shane at the club drop is also great. Usually Troon courses well maintained and the experience is top shelf. Today was VERY disappointing.
*UPDATE* Joh Patzwald the director of golf at Eagle Mountain called to validate my concerns and make things right. I'm elevating my review a couple stars as a result.

This course is sensational. It's almost always in great shape. It has great views and plays incredibly fun. It is tricky but not to hard. All will have fun and it usually has good value outside of peak times.

The layout and picturesque views throughout the course were beyond believable. I played the course late in the afternoon- so the greens had some cleat marks and divots that players, unfortunately, don't have the etiquette to repair- so I can't blame the landscaping crew. Enjoyed the round tremendously, especially because my grandson honored me with his presence to play a round with.
