Our stay at Eagle Dancer Retreat was nothing short of incredible! As parents of two small children, my husband and I rarely get the chance to truly unwind and reconnect, and this retreat provided the perfect setting to do just that. From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the breathtaking views that surrounded us—the scenery alone was worth the trip!

The spa area was an absolute dream, offering the most relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Our couples massage was exactly what we needed to fully embrace the peace and tranquility of the retreat. Another highlight was the trailheads located right on the property, making it effortless to step outside and immerse ourselves in nature. Whether we were enjoying a sunrise hike or a peaceful evening stroll, the connection to the outdoors was unbeatable.

While Eagle Dancer Retreat feels like a secluded oasis, it is also in close proximity to town, where we explored fine dining options, unique shopping areas, and local attractions. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, and we left feeling completely refreshed. If you’re looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway in Sedona, I cannot recommend Eagle Dancer Retreat enough!

Eagle Dancer is truly a special place. From the moment I first discovered it online, I felt drawn to it — and after spending a few days here, I can confidently say it was everything I had hoped for and more. The energy of this place is undeniable. Nestled in the stunning Sedona landscape with breathtaking views of the Red Rocks, it offers a sense of peace and tranquility that’s hard to find elsewhere.

We stayed in the Garden Studio, and it was absolutely perfect. The private outdoor garden terrace with a gas fire pit overlooking the Red Rocks was one of our favorite parts of the stay. We loved sitting around the fire in the mornings and evenings — it was incredibly peaceful and the perfect way to start and end the day. The room also had an indoor fireplace, which created the coziest vibe for the evenings.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed with open arms. Iona and Huib are incredibly intentional with the experience they create for their guests, and it’s evident in every little detail — from the stocked fridge upon arrival to the hand-selected wine in a mini fridge in the room, and even the yoga mats thoughtfully provided for use. Every aspect of the stay feels curated to enhance relaxation, healing, and connection to the surrounding nature.

One of the most unique and powerful aspects of Eagle Dancer is that there is a vortex directly on the property. You can truly feel the energy — it’s an incredible space for meditation, reflection, and grounding. Combined with the surrounding Red Rocks, it makes for an unforgettable, deeply restorative experience.

We particularly loved the spa area, which includes a hot tub, pool, steam room, and sauna — perfect for contrast therapy! It was the ultimate way to unwind, reset, and take in the peaceful surroundings. The floating meditation deck, with its incredible views, was another highlight, offering a serene space to disconnect and be fully present.

A really unique touch was the hand-crafted Buddhas from Bali, thoughtfully placed throughout the property. It made the experience even more peaceful (and fun) as we found them in different spots. We also loved that from the property itself, we had direct access to incredible hikes, allowing us to step right into nature without having to drive anywhere.

Eagle Dancer is truly a place to get away —offering a much more peaceful and tranquil experience than your typical resort. It’s a place for healing, stillness, and reconnecting with yourself and nature.

Highly, highly recommend! We’re so grateful for our time here and can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful stay in the Upper Casita at Eagle Dancer. Eagle Dancer is a truly unique property in Sedona. The views are breathtaking. We loved access to the dry sauna, steam room, and hot tub. We also enjoyed being able to walk directly to a wonderful trail. If you are looking for a tranquil escape, this is it.

By far our favourite place we’ve EVER stayed. Sedona in general is such a beautiful and magical place… and choosing to stay at Eagle Dancer was the very best decision we made. It’s honestly hard to know where to begin. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The rooms are so lovely and very private. The hosts put so much thought into your stay, the attention to detail and care is unmatched. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and sauna. The wellness offerings are amazing. Our recent stay at Eagle Dancer Resort in Sedona, Arizona, was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning beauty that surrounded us. Waking up each morning to the serene landscape was a true delight, setting the perfect tone for our tranquil getaway.

The resort itself exudes a sense of calm and peace, making it an ideal sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation. One of the highlights of our stay was the seamless access to hiking trails right from our doorstep. Exploring the picturesque paths and immersing ourselves in Sedona’s natural splendor was incredibly convenient and enhanced our overall experience.

After a day of adventure, unwinding in the resort’s sauna and hot tub was pure bliss. The amenities were top-notch, providing a perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The panoramic views enveloped us, creating a soothing backdrop that made every moment spent outdoors truly memorable.

Eagle Dancer’s location is another standout feature. Nestled just up the hill from town, we enjoyed quick and easy access to some of Sedona’s best restaurants and Whole Foods, ensuring we had everything we needed within reach.

The service at Eagle Dancer was impeccable. Jesse, our guide, went above and beyond to show us around the grounds and made us feel genuinely welcomed. His attentiveness and warmth added a personal touch that made our stay even more special.

Eagle Dancer Resort has quickly become one of my favorite places I’ve ever visited. Its wonderful setting, outstanding amenities, and exceptional service make it a perfect romantic retreat. We are already sharing our incredible experience with friends and family and can’t wait to return for another magical stay. Thank you, Eagle Dancer, for providing such a memorable and enchanting escape!

PS: Make sure you try the pink jeep tours. They were the highlight of our vacation.

If you're looking for that special place to get away, unwind, and relax, Eagle Dancer is it.

We visit Sedona 3-5 times a year, and this truly made us feel like we were experiencing Sedona in a new, elevated way. Everything from the curated wines and unique architecture to the hosts charm and class, there is no comparison. The location is perfect, providing privacy and peace with access to trails away from the crowds. We especially loved hiking up to the peak of Sugarloaf mountain for sunrise/sunset. Coming back from a morning hike to a massage, saltwater pool, and hot tub is something everyone should experience. Not to mention the sauna and steam room.

Like Tlaquepaque, the property's layout allows for a unique experience around every corner. Modern but eclectic with interesting structures and art that make you feel like you've been transported to another world. You can hear soothing water flowing everywhere from the numerous fountains located throughout. No road noise, no stress, just peace and tranquility.

I highly recommend this resort above all others if you really want that feeling of getting away from it all.

This was a perfect place to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. It was beyond our expectations. At times, pictures on the internet aren't what they are when you get there. Eagle Dancer is more than what you see on pictures online. We just got back and we are already planning our next visit. Jesse was there to greet us when we arrived. She was very communicative making sure that our arrival and check went smoothly. We stayed at the Sanctuary, and I didn't want to leave our room. The view is majestic and the solemness was so relaxing, making you forget all the stresses in the world. There's a newly built terrace where you can enjoy the mountain views. There's a nearby trails to enjoy the outdoors. The city center is nearby, but while in the property, it feels like you're away from everything. The room was very clean and has everything you need. Beddings were comfy, which i love. Both sunrise and sunsets brings spectacular colors in the sky. You really do not need to leave the room. I love that there was no tv ensuring that all you do is relax and enjoy your time away from the norm. There's a wine cooler with different selections of wines, especially picked by the owner. We can't wait to go back. All I can imagine is that view.

By far, the most amazing spot in Sedona that I have experienced. Not only were the accomodations top notch, but the setting and the views were unparalleled. The estate is beautifully preserved and maintained with every amenity carefully curated. The majestic views are perfect for the soul. The proprietors did a brilliant job with keeping every 'suite' private and discrete from the others, making us feel that we had the entire estate to ourselves. The rooms were generously equiped with amenities and the host/property manager welcomed us and gave us a personal tour of the entire property, ensuring that we knew how best to make the most of our stay there. It was a truly remarkable experience and stay, and now I cannot envision being in Sedona without staying there. Thank you!
