Met joy at the front desk she was a pleasure and very understanding and accommodating for my elderly mother. She found us a bit quieter lower level room. Our room was clean and a short walk to attractions. I enjoyed my stay wish I stayed another day. Only slight con was light water pressure but not bad enough to lose any stars I would recommend

Made a quick trip from Florida to attend a local concert , so we stayed one night.||Got a room with a king sized bed and walk in shower. Plenty of room and we were pleased with the stay.||Joy was the at the check in desk and she was a joy to work with. She had also had taken our phone reservations a few weeks prior to our stay. ||The hotel was in a good location and we had ice cream next door at Seaweeds.|Then breakfast a block or so away at Sunrise Restaurant.||Would stay again !

Hi I’m a local so I’m here to offer all the deets about this hotel. For starters, this is one of the ONLY pet friendly hotels on the island. Second, this hotel gets the award for cutest nautical themed experience (in my opinion). The lobby is just so adorable!! I love the way the rooms are designed as well. The king suites are especially very pretty and clean. Also, the staff is very sweet and hardworking. They even sell cute mystery books in the lobby for a few bucks! THERE IS FREE PARKING. I cannot stress to you enough how important the free parking is. Not every hotel on the island has this and it becomes very important during the summer season. The beach is walkable from the hotel (walk to the end of 14th street to the beach access - about 5min). Also, there are many easily walkable restaurants and bars nearby. Overall, this is one of my favorite hotels on the island.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Great friendly staff, clean comfortable room. Highly recommend and I would stay here again. Conveniently located near the beach, short walk to many shops and to the beach and the pier. Also located near several restaurants and IGA grocery store.

Very nice hotel a couple blocks from the beach. Downtown area within walkable distance. Though an older hotel, room was well maintained and adequate in size. Fridge and microwave nice room additions. Annex building where I stayed had a nice outdoor seating area with heated lamps. Staff were quite friendly.

Great location. The hotel was nice. Loved our small king room. Close walking distance to stores , restaurants and Tybee Pier and beach . The only complaint was a leaky shower head. But other than that, it was great. Definitely will book again.

I stayed here not as vacation but as a hurricane refuge: My home was damaged and without electric or water for three weeks, thanks to Hurricane Helene.
The Dunes welcomed my dog and offered a kitchenette, making this long stay more than comfortable.
The staff was pleasant and professional, especially Joy at the Front Desk. She was accommodating when I had to extend my stay.
I am looking forward to returning but this time as a beach holiday!

Very nice hotel, and we got a room with a kitchenette. Large fridge, small flat top double burner, large microwave, sink, kitchen table and enough dishes, utensils for all of our needs.
The room was very clean and very friendly staff!
*It does take the hot water a while to get hot, but once it does, it stays hot.
We originally had a property rented with Tybee Vacation Rentals (pink sun place), but they ruined our vacation getaway for the second time. The Dunes Inn accommodated our needs for a long weekend at half the price of our vacation rental.
Thank you for making our getaway work out because we were left high and dry from the rental company.
