This is my first time eating here and I must say the food is great. I got baked chicken, Mac& cheese and cabbage. Everything was good.

Stopped in on a 1,500-mile road trip that took me through Albany. I'd crawl 1,500 miles on my hands and knees to get another plate of the oxtail.

Greens, rutabaga, and black-eyed peas were great too. If I had a little hot sauce and salt in my car, they would have been perfect. Next time, I'll come prepared.

Banana pudding gets an A- and peach cobbler an A+. (I had a little cup of each)

100%, I'll be back. The people running it were kind and even the music had me smiling. I wanted to try about 20 other things (the neck bones looked amazing).

This was my first time eating there and it was very good and the restaurant was very clean and the service was excellent and to top it off my food was already paid for by someone else. I have to say that was something that has never happened to me before and I was really impressed by that gesture. I will definitely be going to them repeatedly.

Man, the food here is very good. Honey and I went on a Sunday while visiting our daughter's college campus. We happened to stumble across this popular local soul food spot.

Let's get into the P & C’s:

Pros:

- Food is absolutely delicious.
- Great customer service.
- Variety of food selections.
- Generous portions.
- Home-cooked Sunday dinner style.
-The dressing is outstanding.
- Everything is well-seasoned.

Cons:

- It can be a long wait due to the restaurant being small. Therefore you will be standing outside in a line.
- The food is pricey but worth it!
- The dressing was cold on the day we went.
- The dressing is only served on certain days.

Finally found a real soul food restaurant! The food was EXCELLENT! The Yams, the cornbread and can we all talk about the banana pudding? The portion size was was like 6 people and was the best I ever had. Will be going back ty so much!

Dunbar catered for Ms.Baltimore repast on Saturday and I tell you everything that he put his foot in was bad as hell. If I can have him ship me some food to Arizona I would. But yeah I appreciate that and the team Dunbar restaurant. You guys did the best ever. Everything was swinging and banging. I can't even talk about the chicken. I don't know what kind of chicken it was or however you did it. But oh yeah you did that. The Baltimore family really appreciate everything that you did. Thanks again 💖

Today I got the chitterlings they were a little salty but good got the Black eyed peas they were okay got like a somewhat custard pie it was okay the cornbread with excellent the cookie that I got was pretty good although I'm not too hung up on coconut a bit pricey but gave a quite a bit good helping of the food we'll visit again
