Dudley's Bookshope Cafe is a bookstore and a coffee shop wrapped in one. The place reminds me of a Mom & Pop Barnes & Noble or Borders back in the day. Whoever thought of this idea is brilliant. This place is great!

I really wanted to love this bookstore. It has a HUGE selection of books and two levels. The cafe is also cute. I found some of the staff to be extremely friendly while others seemed to prefer talking to their regulars at the cafe bar, which is fine but not the most welcoming. Definitely would come back though!

I love a good independent bookstore and will always support them. They had a good selection, great mural upstairs, I bought several books plus the artist's postcards. Coffee was marginal, and I wouldn't spend money on that again. The staff seemed a bit underwhelmed by being there, which I get, but it was not overly welcoming. Overall it still was a great place though.

I'm a huge fan of bookshop cafés because they have a nice vibe and are a good place to hang out with snacks and books around. It's a pretty small store but it does have both an upstairs and downstairs section which is good. I wish that they offered more used books personally, and I feel like the selection of certain genres caters too heavily to what's popular. (The poetry section was particularly disappointing to me, and my partner wishes there were more science fiction, especially used.) I hope they can expand their collection to add more hidden gems because I definitely like the atmosphere of the place, it is comfortable and well-decorated.

Seriously one of my favorite book stores of all time! They have the best book recommendations on display or just ask one of the folks working the cafe. They make wonderful drinks and the atmosphere is cozy and makes you want to live out all of your deepest bibliofantasies. Also a few spots for some quiet conversation which is nice.

A friendly, welcoming bookstore in the middle of downtown. I love bookstores. Yes, you can buy books on Amazon but nothing beats walking around, seeing staff-recommended books, discovering new genres that you never ventured into before. They have both of and new books.

They have some seating space upstairs where people seem to be working/studying and a cafe downstairs. As you can see from all the pictures, the decor is cute and reminiscent of old bookstores.

If you're a lover of books, you'd enjoy this place.

Amazing cafe atmosphere, a good place to study or have tea/coffee with friends. Coffee is amazing, the book selection is interesting and varied, and you can sit in the downstairs cafe or in the more secluded upstairs area. One of my all time favorite spots. Employees are friendly and the owners are usually around and happy to chat.
