First, there’s no back door and no parking in front, so you’re forced to park in back then walk down the drive thru lane of a neighboring restaurant to get to the front door. The service was great, staff super friendly. The bacon sandwich I ordered was nearly in edible. It was over microwaved so the English muffin was so chewy, I could not eat the sandwich. The coffee was meh…same as hotel lobby coffee. So disappointing.

The donuts are so light! The toppings were okay, especially the maple frosting. I actually wished I had gotten a simpler donut with fewer toppings because the donut itself was so good. There wasn’t enough of the bourbon caramel drizzle to really taste it which was disappointing. The apple topping had a bit of a chemical taste to it, wouldn’t get that again. Just rating the donuts themselves and how good their texture was, they get 5 stars.

Went to Duck Donuts on Brown St. a little before 4 p.m. today. It was not crowded so service was pretty quick. My daughter already knew what she wanted because she'd been wanting a bacon donut. She ordered a Bacon in the Sun donut and a Maple Bacon donut. The bacon was surprisingly soft. I ordered a Bourbon Caramel Apple Pie Donut. Now typically I don't like cooked apples.....BUT this donut was absolutely delicious. Since they make them when you order them; the donut was nice and warm! Each donut cost $2.85. If you're looking for donuts that are non-traditional in flavor.....go to Duck Donuts!

I ordered two donuts to go and while it was certainly very busy, they made my donuts and never called them out. When I finally asked I just got a “sorry I made them 30 minutes ago and thought you left” but I was standing there the whole time. I’m positive they never called them out, and tucked them behind the mobile order pickup so I assumed that’s what it was and didn’t ask.

I used to love stopping here every time I was in Dayton but certainly never again.

My experience with this Duck Donut’s was phenomenal. The places was neat and you could feel the cleanliness. The staff was wonderful! It was my first time ordering from them and they went through everything with me, answered all my questions and was very polite. This is definitely one of my favorite places for a sweet treat. The donuts were definitely worth the wait. My wait time was about 8 to 10 minutes.

You walk in, and there is not a single donut out on display ready to go. “Made to order” they say, which is just another way of saying they know they are never going to have any real demand for their donuts. So you have to stand there and wait…and wait…and wait, which you really don’t have time for, which is why you popped into a donut shop to begin with, so that you can just grab something and go.

Then you get the donuts…and they are hot. They’re a hot, melting, sticky mess. Why would anyone ever want a hot donut So you don’t even get to eat anything right now, which defeats the whole purpose of having stopped at this place.

Then when you get around to trying them, they are an inedible, undercooked soggy mess because clearly the frosting was put on when they were much too hot. Again, why would you do that? So you throw the whole mess in the trash.

Love the donuts. But, they are often supposed to be open according to the hours on their online AND on the door, I have showed up twice to them being closed. Doors locked, no one in side. Kind of REALLY annoying, if you're not going to be open then change your posted hours.

The cashier was so incredibly sweet and helpful, the donuts were absolutely amazingggg, it was very quick as well. we ordered two donuts and a coffee and she made it within 5 minutes. The donuts literally melted in your mouth, and it was very reasonably priced.
