Right as we saw the building we smiled because it was well kept and in a great area. So clean and not crowded with stuff everywhere. The one bedroom is perfect. Once again very clean and I love the set up with the tub. We will be staying here again if we come to Birmingham . The staff is very professional and very nice. We feel comfortable here.

Beautiful location. Very nice staff. Room was clean. Hot breakfast was better than most. Lovely grounds. Very clean room as well as lobby and other public area. Pet friendly with minimum fees. My only complaint is the bed wasn't super comfortable and I needed more pillows. Overall I recommend.

Positive: Location, easy to get to. Close to great dining options. Pool was clean and inviting. Parking was easy. The rooms were quiet and well appointed. Negative: Bed too soft! Like an old mattress, no support in the middle between the shoulders and knees. There was a leak in the bathroom near the commode. Staff ran warm or cold. Some very kind and helpful, others as if we were in their way, tire of people.

Clean well run hotel. Appreciated the free breakfast and dinner food/drinks for convenience of not having to go out and find dining when I'm traveling solo on business. Granted free food isn't going to be the best--about what you might expect for free. The room, pool, fitness area, and dining area were clean and well maintained by friendly staff.

From front to the food staff, they were EXCELLENT!!!! The drinks were great the food was great the room was clean. There was NOTHING to complain about. Thank you all for the perfect weekend. We came to celebrate my loved bday and to relax, now he wants to come back every two months lol

Updated rooms cannot fix the basic problems. We stayed in a two queen room. Beds are comfortable and we got a good nights sleep. A/C works well. Strong pressure from the showers and good hot water. There is a single sink with no door to close off from the room, so it is easy to disturb a sleeping roommate. The door to the toilet leaves just about eight inches of clearance so that you have to step to the side of the toilet to close the door. Eight channels for the TV and you better like FOX. This is an older Drury Inn, easily the worst I've stayed in. The room feels cramped and small.

Stopped while passing through on a trip to New Orleans and was thankful it was only for less a less than 12 hour stay.The front desk staff seemed to want to be anywhere but here, the hotel is exceptionally out dated, as is the room. The AC is super old and loud, The chair in our room is actually covered in stains and should be tossed. It's gross, the towels smell the bathroom wasnt really clean, and the elevator is the scariest thing I've ever been in. The girl at check out was very nice she's probably the best thing about this place. But hey, you get free breakfast, soda and snacks so who cares right?

WOW! Hot breakfast dinner and drinks. Enjoyed the pool and the hot tub! The beds were comfy and the room was spacious and accommodating. Friendliest staff ever and always ready to help you from breakfast to late night at the front desk. Clean! All interior doors to the rooms and an elegant interior. I will definitely stay here again when I visit town and will probably be a permanent place when I visit anywhere they are available!!
