The rooms were in great shape and so comfortable. The king sized room came with a mini bar area and a living room. It is also literally a less than 5 minute drive to the airport; once you pull out of the hotel, the road into the airport is immediately ahead. The staff were very welcoming, and the complimentary cookies are the best! The pool is heated too and open till 10; a calming environment to south oneself! Definitely recommend, especially if you have an early flight leaving out of Tucson Airport.

Location & proximity to the airport is great. Staff was pleasant and the pool area is nice.
We did not receive any housekeeping during our stay for some reason. Our bathroom door didn’t not shut properly. Our phone call button to the front desk didn’t work (busy signal both days we tried). The sinks in the women’s restroom in the restaurant area off the lobby do not work. 3/4 of the cardio machines (both treadmills and one elliptical) were out of order in the gym.

If you’re the type who’s always running late for the airport, this hotel is perfect for you—it’s right across the street, so you can cut it close without a worry! Once you step inside, you’ll be transported to another time with its old-fashioned architecture that feels straight out of a vintage movie. The staff is incredibly friendly. The room is spacious, but there’s an eerie emptiness to it—like it’s waiting for something to happen. The AC barely works, and the bathroom is a true relic, with cracked walls and stains that might just be hiding stories of their own. Move the couch and living furniture if you dare. Who knows what might be lurking behind them? It’s a strange mix of comfort and suspense like you’re trapped in a thrilling tale.

The sheets were stained. I did look for bugs, but didn't find any, thankfully. The TV is straight out of the past, too, refusing to connect to Netflix or any apps, leaving us to watch cable TV like we were stuck in another decade. But the best part? The charm of it all. It’s like being in a spooky, yet cozy adventure. The floors and carpet weren't clean, not sure about what products they used, but they need to be changed. Outdated? Yes. But that’s what makes it so much fun. Would I stay again? Absolutely. It’s like living in your very own horror movie, minus the real danger, of course! If this place gets an update and massive clean-up it would be perfect.

This place had fantastic service. Not only were they super accommodating when we needed to check in early, the woman was SUPER nice. The hotel was very clean and all of the staff was super friendly and helpful. When we got back to Chicago we realized our son forgot his baby blankie (end of the world). We called Doubletree and they immediately found it and offered to send it back through their 3rd party company they use. My son was so excited they sent it back with goodies for him and his brothers. That is top notch service, folks!

I’ll start with the positives—the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located right next to the airport, which can be convenient, though the noise level might be an issue for some.

Now for the concerns. The rooms have an unusual design with French door-style entrances and wood Venetian blinds, which provide minimal privacy and don’t feel very secure due to the glass doors. Cleanliness was another major issue. The sheets appeared unchanged, with noticeable debris throughout. I attempted to call the front desk for fresh sheets, but the in-room phone didn’t work. Calling from my cell phone also went unanswered.

The towels were far past their prime—what should have been white was now gray, signaling they were long overdue for replacement. Maintenance in the room was also lacking. The curtains were partially detached from their track, the bathroom door hinges were rusted, and the door itself was deteriorating at the bottom. The most concerning issue was the bathtub—it felt unstable, almost as if it could give way unless you stepped precisely in the center (for reference, I weigh only 145 lbs).

You also don't really have control of the rooms temperature. There is a thermostat but there is a sign that says the temperature is controlled by a master system and will go cold or hot depending on the temperature outside. If you want anything portable fan or heater they can provide you one.

Also, of you intend to sleep on the sofa bed, don't. Buy an air mattress instead, you'll be more comfortable.

For the price, you can find much better accommodations elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Absolutely the best location. Walk to the airport. It’s a nice outdoor style hotel/motel with a great courtyard. Bed was comfortable but it felt like it sunk in one side too much. It’s old. Really showing its age. Could hear all the sewer above me and hot water was just warm. Couldn’t adjust temp to cool off the room as it was in control of maintenance. Mismatched towels. Ceiling diet. Wall stains. Room damage. Dirty, destroyed carpets with stains. Those are not shadows on the ceiling. See my photos.

I’ll start by saying the location is amazing due to its proximity to the airport. But besides the warm cookie this establishment shared no similarities to the Double Tree’s I have frequented. The existence of this property is tarnishing the Hilton brand. First of all you enter the outdated rooms from outside like a motel. Fortunately the delicious food and prompt service at the restaurant is what is saving this place.
1. The tub was leaking
2. The top sheet had a mysterious pink stain
3. The wooden blinds couldn’t close because they’re broken
4. Bathroom trash can was rusted
5. No room service

When I reserved two rooms with a Hilton property, I was expecting a lot more than my family got. We booked two rooms for one night while passing through. Breakfast wasn't automatically included, so make sure you add that to your stay or you'll be charged $24.95 per adult to dine because they dont offer continental.

When we first entered one room, it was muggy and the AC didnt work. Helpful staff provided us with a box fan, which worked well. We got a suite with a pull-out bed for my toddler to use, but the sheets were obviously uncleaned because there were at least a dozen mouse droppings in the sheets. We opted to use our own pack-n-play we brought with us. The furniture was outdated and the rooms were in clear need of upgrades and a deep clean.
We opted to dine in the restaurant for dinner because we were too tired to go far. Every other menu item was not in stock, to include gluten free options and a couple ingredients for signature drinks.

The staff at the front desk was kind and helpful, but could only resolve so much. I assume the issue with this location is either the owners or the management. Either way, I recommend staying elsewhere if you want to keep your stress level where it's at presently.
