Pool was close, AC in the room didn't work. However, they did get someone to come fix it. It was still frustrating because we had 3 sleeping kids in the room while it was being fixed. Our rental car's battery died in the morning and the representative at the desk said there wasn't a jumper box or any jumper cables to help us. After an hour of trying to figure something out, the manager of the restaurant, Ernesto saved the day and was so helpful to turn our exexperience around. He had everything to get our car going again. I wish the front desk would have taken the effort to ask around to help us. Thank you Ernesto for being the only one willing to help us out.

Older hotel in need of the Renovation gods. Heat is questionable. Restaurant old but good. Bar staff work hard.
Taco Tuesday is a great deal. Happy hour fun and priced right. Would return.. please renovation gods find me…….

A serious renovation is required to bring this hotel to the 21st century. Carpet in the room, black furniture, popcorn ceiling, color brown everywhere... A recall to the 70s wherever you look. The cherry on the cake, the polyester sheets: the new American standard. The only thing updated is the shower with a loose faucet, though. The mattress is good, as well as the pillows. If I had cotton sheets, it would have been a 5 star sleep. Great staff and really helpful.

If you liked the 70’s then this is the hotel for you. Dark, dirty, outdated. A tear down really. Have to call for maintenance to have the thermostat changed. “Old pipes” they told us. Advertised a restaurant but when we went in to eat, place was empty except for few people at the bar, the guy behind the bar suggested we go somewhere else. Was nice enough to give us several suggestions. Do NOT recommend.

2/17/25 Update. I received a reply from Double Tree asking me to call them at number they provided. I did that today and was told ‘no one is here to take your call’….Of course there wasn’t. Not surprising to me. My review stands.

Let me start with what is really great about this place. Number one is the staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Location, location, location. It is a bit noisy here. The windows are not doing a great job canceling out road noise and you are on a busy Street. Having said that, it is conveniently located, with plenty of amenities surrounding this establishment. Finally, the rooms are very clean and the water pressure is perfect. If not for the moniker outside, I would think I am in a very clean motel. 6. From The dark carpeting walls, plastic bedding and broken TV; this place screams motel 6. Only your wallet will tell you you are paying Hilton money for a much lower quality inn. Hilton does a great job on hospitality. They do a terrible job on lodging.

As Hilton Honors club members, we seek out comfortable hotels to stay in while traveling because they meet a certain benchmark of cleanliness, luxury, and comfortable beds. We were quite disappointed with this Doubletree. Hilton would be better served by removing their logo and revoking the franchise at this location. Before booking, we looked at the website and they said that the pool was open. My granddaughter was quite disappointed that they were having renovations, and there was no end date for it. Additionally, the heater or HVAC in the room was very noisy. The only connection for the CPAP plug-in was halfway across the room which caused problems of tripping in the night and waking up to go to the restroom. The carpet itself was quite dirty. The hotel is dated. The furnishings are old and better suited to be given away to Goodwill. The centerpiece carpets are faded and could be used as weeded fabric in some gardens. When I explain to the front staff that this has been a terrible mistake and kindly to move us to another Hilton, which is across the freeway, we were told that the best that they can do is to move us to another room. The location is good because we were there for a convention and it was easy to catch the train or the light rail to go straight into town. There are lots of restaurants around that area as well as shopping opportunities. However, if you’re seeking a very comfortable, stay, choose the other Hilton in town of the Hampton Inn across the freeway.

We've stayed here in the past and it was great. It also included a free breakfast. We stayed just recently and it was not a good experience. No cookies at check in, the beds were hard as the floor and when we asked about a continental breakfast we were told to a room. It was a good breakfast but were shocked when we received a $40 bill. I guess things change, like us not staying there again.

It is the cheapest one around for a reason. The hotel itself is fine. a few nights wouldn’t hurt. the area around it however is odd and trucker stop-ish. you definitely have to drive to get wherever you’re going because it is not in the part of town you are looking for. Pretty safe just not ideal. the rooms are fine, the only outlets are next to the lamp. It honestly wasn’t terrible for 2 people if you are going to go out a lot. If you have 3+ i wouldn’t recommend. if you’re looking for a few days just to stay the night then it is perfectly adequate.
