My husband, 3 kiddos, and I planned a trip from Wyoming to Bakersfield to visit family. When choosing a hotel, we wanted to make sure we were in a safe area, the hotel was clean, and free of drug paraphernalia(reviews from other hotels had a lot of these issues)
We decided to go with the double tree, and I’m so incredibly happy we did. We had an extremely rough start to our trip with rental car issues, and nearly being stranded in LA. But the second we walked into the doors of the hotel, we felt so much relief. We were met by a very friendly front desk attendant. The lobby was beautiful, with great furniture and decor. Very clean. The rooms were big and clean, beds were very comfortable. The landscape outside is also beautifully kept. The housekeeping staff was so friendly and helpful. We asked for our room to be cleaned on our 3rd day, and came back to fresh sheets, towels, and a spotless room! Every where we needed to go, was within a 5-10 minute drive. The restaurant and room service was great for breakfast. It was genuinely such a great stay, and I will 100% continue booking here when we come back to visit.

We had a wonderful stay here, the rooms were clean, huge comfortable bed, good facilities, beautiful bathroom! Pool area was great and quiet. The front desk staff were friendly and we were provided water and cookies on arrival and they upgraded to a king suite as it was available! Can’t fault this stay

It was a great place to stay to break up the road journey between Las Vegas and Oakhurst. It was also a good jumping off point for a visit to Sequoia National Park.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was okay, but after an 8 hour drive, i wanted some food and to sleep.
BUT they were having some party and the restaurant was closed with NO NOTICE, and the band played until well after 11.
This was MISERABLE.
Weird funky building. Would NOT stay here again, unless service can improve!

This was the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I paid $1,100 to stay 10 nights at this hotel and showed up a day late due to delay with my train. When I arrived to check in I met with someone at the front desk and they told me they couldn’t give me my room anymore and they had given it to someone else which did not make sense when I had paid for that room for 10 days. When I asked if we could have a different room their answer was no unless we wanted to pay for it. I then explained to them why it didn’t make sense that I would have to pay extra for another 9 days when I already paid for them. They told me there was nothing they could do so I asked for a refund and then they told me no. I am beyond livid that I paid $1,100 and showed up on day 2 of my 10 day vacation and I could not even spend the rest of it there. I had no where to go and they did not fix the problem or even suggest a solution, not to mention this was a special trip for Christmas! I feel completely SCAMMED. What a waste of money. Do not book here!!

My second stay at this property because the first stay was pleasant. Check-in staff are very friendly and efficient. I was in a double queen room and it was big, clean and quiet, even on the ground floor. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Another great stay!

We stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton on our way from San Francisco to Las Vegas and the rooms were spacious for two, comfortable, clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. We had breakfast at the restaurant, highly recommend the burrito, it was huge and delicious!
Would highly recommend for budget friendly and great value accommodation!
