I gave this 5 stars... I don't think any campsite is perfect but this checked all the boxes off. we did 2 nights early June 2024, Phoenix was 100+ degrees and campsite was low 80's day and 50 something at night.

There is convenient water and outhouses that were always very clean.

there is only 15 sites so it's quiet and cozy. Some sites are close together and others have some distance between. If you are going with 2 families get camp site 2 and 3 because theyre a short stone throw away.

Not all campsites had the charcoal grill seen in my video attached.

I will go back to this again.

there is also Mormon lake town that is a 2 minute drive from the site and they have a small restaurant, fuel, and a small store.

I have been coming here for the past several years and it has become my favorite campground in the Flagstaff area. Other than new restroom buildings ( non flush ) were installed last year, whichI didn’t think really necessary ) this is like going back to the 1930s. There are only 15 sites, laid out in an irregular pattern, amid a forest of Ponderosas and oaks. There are little creeks that run through the campground and often colorful wildflowers. Northern Arizona at its best!

We could not book a place online so we went early on a Thursday to get a first-come-fist-serve spot. We were happy to get the exact spot our adult kids wanted. It was at the end of the road so no traffic went past us. We didn't have neighbors until late Friday through Sunday. Our hosts were wonderful and helpful. They were fun to talk to and they came by several times to make sure we were ok. They kept the bathrooms pristine (as much as you can with a pit toilet) and helped with trail info. ||||There are several trails in the area. Go exploring - it's worth the hike! And there are elk in the meadow (Mormon Lake) in the evenings and mornings. ||||Why are there questions about this being a hotel and asking if anyone speaks Croatian or Czech? Weird!

Great location for relaxing and even taking a little trip to Flagstaff. Bathrooms were pretty clean and the camp sites were nice, spacious, and mostly spaced apart. Sites 2 & 3 are together and make a nice section for 2 families.

This place has the cleanest bathrooms of all time. Cleaner than your home. Seems bathrooms are well sealed and epoxied cleanly. Lots of green trees. Weather is great. Lots of pollen for spring time though. .. but pathways were clean, camp goat came by daily and checked in on everything every day. Sites 14 and 15 are out of the way and are secluded enough to be really nice and calming. Plenty of bird and animals to hear out there

I’ve been attending this campsite for over four years. The host are always great and willing to lend a hand, they also sell firewood which makes it really convenient. The town of Mormon lake is less than 10 minutes away. Highly recommend. They also have great trails, wildlife
