I stayed at Double D Lazy T Ranch for 10 days and honestly didn’t expect much at first—I was just looking for somewhere quiet while I dealt with a court visit in Perryville. But what I found here completely surpassed every expectation.

The barn I stayed in was more comfortable and well-equipped than most extended-stay hotels I’ve been to. The kitchen had everything I needed, a charcoal grill was ready to go, and the Wi-Fi was fast enough for both work and streaming. I worked from the dining table, the recliner, and even outside under the eaves, where I watched sunlight ripple across open fields—an experience I won’t forget.

This ranch is not the rugged countryside people often imagine when they think of rural Arkansas. Every corner is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and welcoming. Even the horses, mules, and cows seemed curious and friendly whenever I passed by. I spent my breaks walking the property and soaking in the sunshine and breeze.

The owners, Tommy and Debbie, made the stay even more special. I got to do trap shooting with Tommy, and Debbie prepared homemade chocolate gravy and biscuits that you can’t easily find even in local restaurants.

Originally I planned to stay for just a short while, but this place was too beautiful to leave. I ended up staying the full 10 days—every day feeling like a retreat for both my body and mind.

I lived in Little Rock for three years, always hoping to find a nearby escape where I could truly unwind. I only wish I had discovered this place sooner. As I head off to Los Angeles, it’s incredibly hard to say goodbye. This ranch, and the people who care for it, have left a lasting place in my heart. I’ll absolutely be back.

We just had our second stay with Debbie and Tommy at the ranch, I cannot express how kind and hospitable they are. You are welcomed and treated like family from the moment you arrive until you’re on the road again. This is a rural area with easy access to the outdoors and State Parks, great for a relaxing getaway or a landing spot to go explore the natural state. We will be returning when in the area, definitely check them out for a comfortable and unique experience.

We were traveling to town for a family event and enjoyed staying at the Double D lazy T B & B so much! All of the accommodations the barn offered were comfortable & fantastic--a warm and inviting atmosphere that felt like our home away from home for the night. We spent the day with family and came back to the barn welcomed by Debbie and Tommy. It was a great time getting to know them as we chatted over a delicious breakfast, which included homemade biscuits & strawberry jelly, a breakfast casserole, fresh fruit, orange juice, & coffee. We had a delightful stay and would recommend staying in the care of Debbie & Tommy any time they were in the area!

My daughter, husband, and I stayed at The Double D Lazy T Ranch the first part of June. We truly enjoyed our stay so much. It is a wonderful place to get away and relax. Debbie and Tommy are awesome people who treat you like family and do their best to make you feel at home in their home. Enjoyed the breakfast conversation. It was as wonderful as the food. The beds were so comfortable you couldn't help but get a good nights rest. We can't wait until we have a chance to go back and enjoy some time with these wonderful people again.

We had an amazing Valentine weekend! Thanks to our host and hostess, Mr. Tommy and Ms. Debbie. Their unique bed and breakfast gave us the best of both worlds. The breakfast and conversation were both warm and inviting in the main house. Their restored horse barn was very clean and decor adorable. The serenity of the property; the wind chimes on the back porch;the cows and horses in the pasture as well as our own living quarters made it a win/win scenario.

Wow! We just left a special weekend. The land is beautiful. The stay is comfortable. The hospitality is impeccable. Debbie and Tommy Park are the right combination of perfect hosts. This little oasis is a horse barn converted in to a bed in breakfast in a place that feels like home. Comfy bedrooms, cozy living room with TV, rocking chair, recliner and a fire! The sunrise and sunset view from the porch make you want to pour another cup of coffee. It’s the perfect weekend getaway or week long stay if your time allows!

A friend and I were travelling through the area and decided that Perryville would be the perfect place to stop. At first look, the only available lodging was at the Park for about $60 a room and that means we needed two rooms. When I expanded my search on Google, I stumbled on this Bed and Breakfast. To be honest, I normally discount B&Bs since I am a thrifty traveller and most seem to be priced a bit high.||The google search led me to their website and it seemed to good to be true. (I know, cliche')||You enter the Living Room/dining room/kitchen area and immediately to your right are two SEPARATE bedrooms. To the Left of the Living Room is the Bathroom, Laundry Room, and final Bedroom. In other words, you have three, separate bedrooms for one price. A wonderful shower (huge) and vanity area (no tub).||We would find out later, that Tommy and Debbie lived here while they were building their neary home. The facility is decorated wonderfully, is very comfortable, and "almost better than home." Since we expected to be late arrivals, they left the key out for us. As a special treat, Debbie had left us some wonderfully tasting cookies that we immediately gobbled up.||The "barn" is about 1500 feet from the house and maybe 1500 feet or more from the road. This means it is very quiet with no noise and lots of moonlight if you care to sit out on the very long porch.||The breakfast was homemade and, well, was VERY GOOD! Biscuits and Gravy, Scrambled Eggs, Juice, and Coffee. Debbie served it on time based on our schedule. ||Would I stay here again, HECK YES!||Note: At this time, they do not have internet available at the barn; however, you can park at the house and tap into their home wireless from the Driveway as they offered to us. Frankly, I was happy to be off the grid for one night.

The bed and breakfast barn is just precious. I found this place through an internet search needing a room for one night after a poker run from Queen Wilhelmina lodge to Mt. Magazine lodge. Me, my husband, and his friend decided to share the place, which worked out great since there are 2 separate bedrooms (actually 3 are available). I liked how it was your own home with all the amenities available for cooking, watching satellite TV or movies, etc. instead of just a room in someone else's home. Tommy & Debbie drove down from the main house in their 4 wheeler to greet us when they saw (or heard) us pull in. Cookies and ice cold water in the refrigerator was a treat. Around dinner time there was a storm that blew in with a little hail. We knew it was coming and pulled our motorcycles under the back porch and watched it. The cows in the pasture didn't mind. The horses got in their barn to wait it out. When it finished raining, Tommy delivered some crackers for the men to eat since we didn't want to get out on the bikes to look for dinner. There was also hot chocolate and marshmallows available in the kitchen. My husband and friend had pancakes in the morning, and I was able to try the French toast casserole. It was fantastic. Also served with bacon and sausage, strawberries, milk, water, and orange juice. Debbie was able to accommodate our request for an early breakfast so we could get on the road heading home before it got too hot. We will definitely be back again! I loved the way it was decorated. It is definitely a great bargain if you are sharing with another couple or two, but only 1 bathroom so you should be comfortable with each other.
