Dockside is under new management, so only time will tell if they will make this into a really nice Resort.
They still have an issue with the water, which in turns creates problems in the pool.
They have a fair amount of cleaning up around the site, but as with all, time will tell.
There is great potential here. It is a great location with great views.
This was our second visit, but the first under new management.
We will return to see if the problems are being addressed.

Very nice rv park. All have full hookups including sewer. Lots at gravel and level with plenty of room to park your camper & tow vehicle. Swimming g pool is nice, there is also a large fire pit. We arrived late and we’re offered help setting up since it was getting dark. WiFi is good enough for Roku & Hulu. Fishing dock is right across the street and we were only 25 minutes from Dauphin Island.

This place is a secret little Gem. It has the most amazing views, quiet and nice people. There is so much more to explore with fishing , crabbing , and local fresh seafood to cook. The camp site view is perfect to feel and see the ocean view. The campground manger Sabrina is very personal and welcoming. She keeps it very nice. We were made aware it is under new management with growth and new things coming. I can’t wait to see it when all is done and updated. Will definitely be back for sure.

My husband and I stayed at Dockside in January of 2024 for 5 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The park was clean, easily navigated and friendly. 2 major rainstorms occurred while we were there with no flooding or mishaps. Management was easily accessible and helpful. And the view is spectacular! We loved that it was a smaller park. Improvements are ongoing and expected to increase its capacity. Mobile and Biloxi are both easily visited and Dauphin Island was a lovely lunch visit.

I have to say after staying three months recently I absolutely love this place. Sabrina is awesome and now my family! The town of Bayou La Batre is charming and really a fun place. It was nice being able to just watch and observe everyday life there. My puppy Tanzi and I felt super safe and totally at home. I will say that it was really hard leaving! I made so many new friends from all over and bonus was hanging out at the local watering hole! You can't go wrong just enjoy!

We enjoyed our month-long stay at Dockside despite some issues like occasional water shutdowns and septic system problems. The camp host, who communicated these challenges kindly, deserves credit. For those of you living in your RV full-time, there are no bathrooms or laundry facilities on site. The location is a hidden gem with a stunning bay view, conveniently close to Dauphin Island and Fort Morgan via ferry. Overall, a great experience with potential for improvement.

If you want off the beaten path, this will be the place you want to camp at. Only saw 6 people, 2 I saw 3 times, great places to buy shrimp, or have it delivered to your camper. Large parking spots, full hook up, great sunsets on the bay, the camp host would let ya borrow her crab pots (fishing license required) about the only thing you will hear, is a coast guard helo flying over head.

It is a beautiful and peaceful campground with a beautiful view of the water on the Gulf of Mexico with its own pier. It has full hookup, swimming pool, free WiFi and did I mention it’s own pier. It is very clean because Sabrina goes around picking up any fallen branches and trash that people have thrown from their vehicles. This is the first campground that management (Sabrina) actually made us feel welcome and happy that we are here(other places made us feel like we should be thankful to be allowed to stay). The sun rises and sets are spectacular and can be watched from the double swing attached to a tree. We are impressed and are loving our stay here.
