If I could give Dishes by Design 100 stars- I would! You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not book them to cater your special event. They catered my wedding in July, and I can not say enough good things about them. First, I had to do a last-minute switch. I had another caterer picked out, however, I realized they did not provide services I wanted, such as water service, silverware, plates, coffee service, etc. And guess what? Dishes by Design does ALL of that and more. Their staff went above and beyond. They helped set my tables, and every person on their staff was kind and extremely professional. Also, I will tell you, they were basically the same price as my previous caterer and did so much more. I haven't gotten to the best part- the food was incredible. Everyone praised their meal. Also, they packed up the leftovers at the end of the night, and I literally just enjoyed the last of the frozen leftovers, and they were delicious still! They also set up my dessert table, and it was INCREDIBLE. They truly let me enjoy my day, because I had full trust that they would handle everything they said they would.
They were very communicative and easy to work with as well. I am truly so thankful for Dishes by Design. Thank you for making my vision come to life!

Dishes by Design recently catered our wedding (at The Onesto) and we were so happy to have had the chance to work with them. Their attention to detail was phenomenal and service was outstanding at the wedding. Multiple people raved about how the food was the best wedding food they have had and the cinnamon rolls are to die for. Toni, Dawn and the whole team was a joy to work with. They were always there to offer advice and answer all of our questions. 10/10 would recommend for any sort of catering.

We had an incredible experience with Dishes By Design for our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the variety and quality of the dishes. The team was professional, punctual, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. From the appetizers to the main courses, each dish was a hit. My personal favorites were the goat cheese triangles and the beef au jus! Dishes by Design was a preferred vendor for our venue (Peacock Ridge Farms) and would be in charge of our bar package, so we knew we needed to check them out right away. To be honest - Toni and her team were the only caterer we even looked at... our tasting was THAT GOOD. She wow-ed us right off the bat, not only with her cooking, the quality of the food, the price, the amount of options.. but also with her genuine, down-to-earth and kind heart. She is such a wonderful and pleasant vendor to work with and we were so thankful to have her on our vendor team. DBD knows the in's and out's of Peacock Ridge and it was entirely evident on that day - they handled the entire day with grace and professionalism. Our guests RAVED about our food! Multiple times. And on top of it, my husband and I *actually* got to eat our dinner on our wedding night and we can truly say: the food was phenomenal. If you're on the fence, do us a favor and just reach out to Toni... I promise she'll make it all worth it!

We worked with Melissa at Dishes by Design for our wedding, and their services were exceptional from start to finish. From the very beginning, they were incredibly professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in ensuring that our culinary experience was nothing short of perfect.
During the cocktail hour, they provided an outstanding grazing board that our guests are still talking about. The selection was diverse and beautifully presented, with an array of cheeses, cured meats, dips, and breads.
For dinner, DBD seamlessly facilitated a buffet for 130 guests. The setup was efficient, and the food was abundant and hot. Despite the large number of guests, the service was smooth and timely, ensuring that everyone enjoyed their meal without any delays. We ordered the Bruscetta Chicken, Beef Brisket, White Chedder Mac and Cheese, Green Beans and New Baby Potatoes. Our guests seriously have not stopped raving about the food, specifically the Brisket and Mac and Cheese! We are biased, but we both agree that this was one of the best wedding meals we’ve ever had!
One of the most impressive aspects of working with DBD was the effortless decision-making process. Melissa guided us through the tasting with expertise and patience, offering valuable suggestions and accommodating our preferences easily. Melissa understood our vision and executed it flawlessly, making the entire planning process stress-free and enjoyable. They even plated our “Pittsburgh Cookie Table” and maintained it throughout the entire reception.

We used Dishes by Design to caterer a wedding at my parents home in 2024. Instead of a seated meal, we chose to do the heavy hors d'oeuvres and they were fabulous! Dishes by Design completely exceeded our expectations. My husband and I searched through caterers before finally finding Dishes by Design! I am so thankful that we kept looking and came across Toni! Toni was so great to work with. The taste testing was so hard because everything was so dang delicious! Toni and her staff made our wedding night dinner go so smoothly! We had compliments all evening and the next few days! We can’t recommend them enough.
