It's a clean, safe place. Some foundations for homeless people live here. It's in a bad part of town, yet close to many businesses. The staff is kind. David, the manager, is great at keeping the motel safe and clean. Nice rooms.

I stayed here a few years ago and decide to reserve the room this time through booking.com. I am quite realistic with my expectation; it is a budget motel, not the mariott. The staff are nice. They give me a fan when I tell them someone left the heater on the night before and no one shut it off. The room is slightly renovated from the last time I was here. They don't have continental breakfast in the morning, but they do offer small snacks and pastry with coffee from I think 8:30. Clean, quiet and comfortable and does not make a dent in my wallet.

The staff is friendly. Rugs were filthy keep shoes on the whole time. Beds were soft but sloped down at the head. 2 pillows would of been nice. The windows were dirty. no air, Shower was dirty. Two rooms were partying very loud until after 2 and the staff didn't do anything about it. It was so bad we left town very early canceling all other plans.

We had to ask for another room because the first one smelled so disgusting there was no way we could sleep there. The second room was better, no carpeting probably helped. We slept on top of the comforter with all our clothes on just to be safe and every time we moved even a little the springs made a racquet. Hot water in the shower didn't last long, but the wall heater worked well. Front desk lady was nice upon checkout. We just needed a place to sleep in a pinch that was cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.

The hotel is okay, at best. The room smelled liked cigarettes and the carpet felt a bit stick on my feet. It wasn't awful though. No ac or ventilation in the room at all either. So it could be bad on a warmer night.

We’ve been here with our 2 dogs for 5 days now. (Just moved here). Yes it’s a little “loud” but that’s should be obvious being right on the main hwy. the 2 ladies here are super sweet. Room was better then the days inn. Bed is comfortable, and the mini fridge came in hand. We are all the way in the back so it’s a little more private and quite.. or we just don’t pay attention to the hwy sounds. Yes people walk around but in the 5 days we’ve been here we seen homeless people and people strung out on drugs just about EVERYWHERE so it’s not just here.

Only thing i wish was different: They had a grass area for dogs. They just have a small area in the front with rocks and bushes.

They advertise pet friendly which is false. They are DOG friendly but don't allow cats. Some people need to travel with their cat such as in my case, I'm relocating. I already made the reservation so I stayed one night while my furbaby stayed in the car. (Sad face)The one night was enough even if they did allow cats. I would not have booked another night. The room smelled awful and the carpet was stained. Dirty walls and I wouldn't call a mini fridge and a microwave a "kitchen". The heat wouldn't come on so it was freezing in the room. I kept turning on the hot water in the shower in an attempt to warm up. It's very very noisy being just a few feet from hwy 101 and many dirty homeless people walking around and hanging out in the parking lot. Thin walls and poor structure so I could hear the people on either side of me. I checked into motel 6 down the street yesterday and it was a sheer joy compared to this place, and motel 6 is listed on Google as a 2 star hotel, so that's saying alot in itself. Not only that but The employees act like it's a huge ordeal to help you and are rude.

My husband and I drove 500 miles to relocate. Discovery Inn was our first stop. We towed our car and the battery was dead. Even though the staff spoke very little English they were extremely helpful and gave us a jump. We had a tow dolly and a big uhaul parked there for 3 days and no one complained. Most of the other visitors seemed nice or kept to themselves. The room was spacious and clean. And the housekeeping staff was considerate of my turtle. It was a very pleasant stay.
