This place is great. Sara is extremely kind and gave us great customer service our whole stay. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. The sand was soft and pool was clean. Room had a great shower and the view was great. 10/10 would stay here again.

First time to float to Illinois River so obviously first time at this outfitter. They were very organized and friendly. We were able to get on our bus and be on the river at the time we were scheduled to upon getting off the river the little shuttle bus showed up immediately to pick us up. Everyone was friendly and I will use them again.

We used the RV park here. It was clean and quiet. It was an easy drive in and out, the other campers were all nice, the area where we parked had easy access to the river so we could enjoy with the kids, we had also signed up to ride a raft (with a guild) down the river, the kids enjoyed it.

Took My wife and 3 kids (9,8,3) on the 6 mile float (7/23/24) and had a Fantastic Experience. The Lady at The Front Desk was Real Nice and Very Helpful. The Drivers were also Courteous and Helpful. We were Extremely happy with the Price. Paid a little over $90 and was worth every Penny. Good equipment and Clean waters. 5/5 on Price & Quality.

Always my go to spot when I hit the river!
Some weekend's have a band on the stage in the camping area! A nice little bar up front! Fresh made food at the grill and a well stocked store for all the things you forgot you needed! Nice camping area and cabins available!

Definitely not kid-friendly! Very crowded.If you want to go on a float trip with kids I suggest you go somewhere else. This is definitely a party float. Lots of activity going on that you don't want your kids subjected to. Marijuana was being smoked all over the campgrounds and all through the float. There is a dispensary right next door to the office that you check in at the campgrounds. So that explains that . I don't have a problem with it I just don't like my children being sround it. We were woke up at 4 a.m. in the morning to two guys yelling and screaming at each other fighting. There was no electric. There was not a barbecue there was not a fire pit of any sort had to just make a fire on the ground we couldn't find any big rocks really to surround it so that we can put our metal grate on top to grill . Thank God we had a propane stove. The bathrooms were small, 2 small showers and two small toilet stalls. They were fairly clean. The day we floated we waited in line outside the store for about 35 minutes then when we got our tickets we waited for our bus for over an hour to get shuttle to our takeoff spot. You also can NOT bring our own kayaks or canoes. But hey if you don't mind all those things the float was beautiful great scenery it didn't seem like they really had designated camping spots so people were kind of write up on you. Probably won't ever return but it was definitely an experience.

Live bands on weekends. Never have bugs and we always camp primitive. Owners are awesome and hands on. Frisbee golf..volleybal..basketball..huge center field for every other sport/activity imaginable. Sat floats are reservation required! I wouldn't camp anywhere else on the river! 7th summer regular.

Awful experience. White haired woman was angry from the get go. Reservation was placed nearly two months ago. The woman had said we only had 5 on our reservation, we had 8 on our reservation. I told her to turn the paper over as the other 3 names were on the back side. She said I had yelled at her and told us to leave. I walked out and walked back in a few minutes later to talk to the owner. I asked to speak with her in private and the white haired woman turned around, pointed at my face and said, that’s the guy that yelled at me. I tried to explain I did not yell. The owner said she’s my girl and she’s been here for 12 years, what she says goes.

I will never go to this place again. Horrible customer experience.
