The location is great. The interior of the room we stayed in was pretty nice, at first glance. You can tell that the inside was remodeled relatively recently. Unfortunately, the remodeling job was not very great. The front door had a 1 inch gap under it, and there was a huge gap between the trim and the wall. This is probably why we saw a mouse within 5 minutes of arriving. We saw mice about every hour when we were in the room. They didn't really even seem to care that we were there. They just came and went through holes in the walls and gaps under the door. There were also may bugs in the room. Like the mice, they came and went through gaps in the poorly remodeling framework and doorways. The grill was incredibly rusty so we decided not to use it. The bed was horrendously uncomfortable and had deep body dents. The bathroom was nice, but there was no exhaust vent and the only window had no screen. It wouldn't take much to make this place really great, but you can tell that it is not very well maintained at all. We still had a fun trip and loved the location, but dealing with mice and an unusable grill made it not worth the money. Maybe at half price we'd consider staying here.

Nasty. Disgusting stench knocked us over upon entry. Read reviews later about infestation issues where we saw photos of rodent droppings in silverware and all over cabin. Owner would not tell us if obnoxious odor was heavy pesticides, bad septic tank, or rodent infestation, nor would they respond to our concern that the stench stuck to our belongings. We went on vacation and came back sickened from nauseating stench. Without every window open and body spray, we would not have lasted the night. I do not recommend this place.

We had a major mouse issue. There were holes in the cabinet that it looks like owner tried to cover with steel wool. A mouse got in and ate a hole through our dog food bag and my son’s backpack to get to snacks. We also found bird poop inside as well as mouse poop everywhere including on the utensils.

Basics for jus a couple and dog friendly. Don't count on Internet and bring extra pillows and blankets if winter. Sterling pass trail jus down the road can walk to.

Room #1

Just few things in my room they could improve: the bbq grill it's rusted, impossible to grilled/cooked anything there... The living room AC was dripping water on the floor... Patio needs a maintenance and new chairs. Tv and cable in the master room was not working.

Overall had a great time in Sedona, the views are amazing, perfect location and peaceful

I Recommend to bring your own stuff like blankets, pillows, towels... Coffee, electric stove top(if you planning to cook).

This place has horrible accommodations. The bed was uncomfortable, no extra blankets, and heating didn't work. We froze. Stay away

Stayed 3 nights in a cabin, beautiful location. Be sure to pack an electric frying pan because the electric stovetop provided was awful/old/didn't work. I was told there was a stovetop, I asked if it was gas or propane and told yes, but not in the photos.
**And the freezer compartment desperately needed to be defrosted.
**And it smelled very strongly of air freshener or perfume & I am very sensitive, so that was NOT GOOD.
I would call ahead to be sure next time.

The photos online make the cabins look far more attractive. We both thought the units were older looking than in the pictures. There is no staff person available on site and this can be annoying as we requested more towels. They only gave us 4 towels for 2 people for 4 nights. Nobody comes to clean or make up the bed the whole time during your stay. The couch smelled and the road runs along the cabin, so it can be noisy starting early in the morning. We tried to change units for the next night but they never got back to us after inquiring a couple times. The shower creates a water mess as there is no tub and the bathroom door did not close well. We thought the mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. The best part is that you are out of Sedona (about 5 miles), but you always have to drive in to do the hikes or eat anyway. I think this place is decent, but next time we will pay more to stay somewhere nicer.
