My wife and I spent three nights at the Desert Hills Inn in September 2024. Booking privately owned accomodations on line can be a bit of a risk, but Desert Hills Inn exceeded our expectations. |We were greeted by the owners, Anna and Vic upon arrival for a quick tour. They stressed treating this place like home. It's a lovely house with a peaceful deck in the back overlooking a lovely back yard with mountains in the distance. Very quiet at night. Very clean and comfortable throughout. |Breakfast was excellent. Homemade breads and jams. There was a choice of breakfast items each morning. Vic is an excellent cook and breakfast which included various egg preparations and apple waffles was great. |Vic and Anna were super hosts...welcoming, friendly and helpful.|Just a great experience. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed at Desert Hills Inn so we could explore and hike Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Desert Hills Inn was our oasis away from the busy Moab traffic (highway 191 runs right through the centre of Moab). Desert Hills is located away from the highway and was our place to relax in their peaceful and quiet backyard and deck area. Desert Hills Inn owners Vic and Anna were so welcoming and helpful! We felt at home in their beautiful bed and breakfast! We stayed in the Red Rocks Room. The room was large and very comfortable with a mini fridge to put our drinks, a TV and large comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent with a hot meal and a selection of their homemade bread and jams. The hot breakfast was delicious and had fruit and yohurt (homemade) if requested. Vic is a very skilled chef! Staying at the Desert Hills Inn made our trip to the National Parks complete. Thank you Vic and Anna for making us feel right at home and providing us with a place to relax and enjoy at the end of our day. We would certainly come again and stay at your place.

We stayed at Desert Hills Inn in Sept 2024 and it was my best stay in Moab by far. We had the family suite which has a private living room with flat TV set and two private bedrooms and a private bathroom with shower and bathtub. The Anna and Vic create a very cozy and familiar atmosphere, the breakfast is individually prepared from homemade food and was on a very very high standard you can't expect in a hotel. Anna and Vic have prepared a bunch of suggestions what to do in the area and collected a good choice of information. We could ask them everything.|Beyond the private rooms there is a big kitchen, a dining room with many books or games for the guests and a living room with a big flat TV to share with other guests. The B&B has a very nicely well-kept garden, a couple of porches for the guest with chairs and tables and a cozy dog waiting for getting stroked in the morning.|The house is air conditioned which is very important in the Moab area.|We will return.

5* all around (if we could give more, we would)! Anna & Vic were superb hosts! Their space was stellar, the freshly prepared breakfast was top-chef quality and made with their own farm fresh eggs and organically home-grown (on property) herbs and produce. The home was conveniently located near downtown Moab, but slightly off the beat and path to provide quiet and "remote" feel from town location. Spectacular views outdoors, and especially from the outdoor hot tub, which we enjoyed privately under a glorious star-filled sky. We adored our two-bedroom suite, which allowed us to sprawl out a bit, and appreciated meeting other guests at stagger-scheduled breakfast, which allowed fresh one-to-one preparation but also time to visit and mingle with other guests. The home was beautifully decorated indoors, as well as the outdoors beautified by their lovely gardens and impeccably tended landscape. We couldn't have wanted for a thing, and if ever there was a need Anna & Vic were super-quick to respond and handle, offering help and a great variety of local tips and suggestions. Can't imagine visiting the area and looking elsewhere, this place is a true gem find! Thank you so much for everything you do and provide for an optimal top-notch experience!

My husband and I stayed at Desert Hills Inn for 4 nights in mid-September 2024. Our stay couldn't have been better! Vic & Anna were very hospitable, their suggestions were spot on and the breakfasts Vic fixed for us each morning were more than we could have ever anticipated! They were hot, delicious and varied. We especially enjoyed his pancakes (I had blueberries in mine) but he was kind enough to make them for my husband without since he doesn't care for blueberries). That's going above and beyond in our opinion. Oh, and they'll also do your laundry for $10 per basket. It was nice to come back from a long day of sight-seeing to clean clothes in our room.

We had the Family Suite (even though it was just the 2 of us), but it was all that was available when I booked. We were actually glad with how it worked out. The suite is on the ground floor and we had our own access through the gate onto the back patio. The bathroom was right outside our suite but was for our use only.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations. You will be glad if you decide to stay at Desert Hills Inn. We highly recommend it!

My husband and I stayed four nights at the Desert Hills Inn Bed and Breakfast in the Red Rocks Room. It was the perfect place to stay while in the Moab area - it was great to be off the busy main highway!! We went hiking at Arches and Canyonlands and looked forward to relaxing at our retreat at the Desert Hills Inn. We loved it! Vic and Anna were welcoming hosts!! We felt very comfortable at their place - just like we were home. The room was very clean and quiet and the bed was so comfortable. We also had a fridge to store our drinks and snacks. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of their outside spaces too. Had a beer on their deck and enjoyed the atmosphere. The breakfasts were excellent! Just like having a chef make a delicious breakfast for us that was different every morning! We had all we needed and more at the Desert Hills. We are coming back next time we are in the area. Thank you Vic and Anna for all the care and attention you take to making your guestโ€™s stay so comfortable and memorable.

The Desert Hills B&B is just outside of Moab and is a wonderful home away from home. The house is clean and comfortable, with many places for guests to spread out or come together. Breakfasts were amazing! We stayed 9 days and had a different breakfast (almost) every day! We loved the back porch with a mountain view after long days of walking in the parks. Vic & Anna are great and they gave us tips on where to go.
