Revisit proved out to be a better time than last. The food was all very freshly prepared for the buffet. The staff were friendly and attentive. The staffer as well at the counter for to go donuts, etc was especially kind.

Is always a fulfilling experience. The wait staff was great, the meal was tasty, and the bakery supplied dessert, which we ate at home. We brought back many coconut cream and banana cream pies. I also caved and got one of the cream filled long john's. A little extra exercise is worth it!

Was passing through Plain City and decided to stop here for lunch. It's a very popular place and at 11:15am the lunch crowd was already growing. We stop here about once a year. The dining area, buffet line, store and restrooms are well maintained and very clean. The Buffet itself has very good food considering the price, although the cost for the soft drinks, iced tea, etc are kind of steep. It's still a bargain for the amount of decent food you can eat. The main meat items on the buffet line were broasted chicken (very good), roast beef (very good), meatloaf (good), ham (okay) and some form of pasta with tomato sauce (didn't try). I didn't really care for the mashed potatoes or gravy however the roasted baby potatoes in butter sauce was very good. Also the ice tea was good as well as the dinner rolls. The bread pudding for desert was okay but I've had better. The waitress (Kelly) was outstanding.

I bought a peanut butter pie to eat at a friend's Thanksgiving dinner. The pie was very good. The people at Der Dutchman were friendly, and there were plenty of options to choose. We had one of their pecan pies at my family's Thanksgiving dinner. It was also delicious.

This place was suggested to us to go visit while visiting Ohio. Overall, I was not too impressed. The corned beef on the Reuben sandwich was dry. The grilled cheese kids meal was not appealing for my son who only took a few bites out of the sandwich. The only meal that looked decent was the salad. It was a one time deal. Not worth the $70 bill.

Update: hours after eating here my son started vomiting violently. Later in the evening my wife and I were both vomiting at both ends. I WOULD NOT recommended this place and we will never be going back.

Coming home from Cleveland and found this little jewel and stopped and tried. We were not disappointed, it was a great place.

We are here for food but gift shop just too wonderful to skip. Food is good. We are right on the lunch hour,so restaurant Park lot was full. And dinning halls all full. But we do got seated immediately since some tables just opened. We ate fried chicken (crispy and tasty) ham (excellent juice) , and salad. Waitress is nice and proper timing for need. Only a little weird feeling is some degree of tense. Most customers seems not nice. Its kind of instinct or vibes, not very friendly,its nothing to do with restaurant, but customers. I chosed to ignore it. Enjoy my meal and move on to gift shop. Oh my ! Its great, I was not planning to buy anything but you know 😂 I end of get a beautiful little pottery. It is a long story back to Boston Massachusetts. At a place a church where bury dead underneath (forgot name) they have a little gift shop. I first encountered tgis little pottery, it was the love of first sight, but didn't get it because don't want hauled it. So when I saw it again here, I got have it. Well long story please excuse me

Been going since I was a kid in the 80s. Still best food ever 😋🤤 mmmm sorry I forgot to take pic of banana cream pie before I ate most of it 😁. Cheyenne was great server 😀. We hadn't been in over a year but every time its yummy
