1st tried this place at a bday party when it was catered and was blown away at how good the food was. I had to go down and an order made to order and it was even better!!! The food made so well that my mouth waters thinking about it. Give this place more love! They deserve it!

When I went in to pick up my order that I ordered over the phone one of the workers bought my food to me and was getting ready to ring me up but when she looked at the receipt it said I had ordered shrimp with my fish which I did not and she said I think they may have messed up so she then proceeds to open my dinner and scan through my plate with her fingers that she had just got through touching the computer screen with I brung it to her attention she apologized and said I could get a remake I had to go since I was already over on my lunch and told her I would be back the next day. When I went back the owner Denweed Called me outside to confront me about the situation saying all she did was touch your cornbread well I don’t know how anyone else feels but I don’t want nobody touching NONE of my food without their hands being clean or have fresh gloves on rather it’s a fry, she touched almost every piece of fish I had trying to see if it was shrimp underneath.Denweed then tells me I get stuff all the time there I’m guessing he was talking about the time it was my bday and I asked for a dessert on the house to go with the dinner I purchased or the one time he gave my daughter a piece of cake on the house.Still not a reason for him to think it that was ok and he was coming off as he had an attitude with me about the situation like I caused it. I’ve been a faithful customer since the time he started sending family and friends to him also. He will never get another penny from me,do not waste your time or money here he clearly doesn’t care about his customers or being sanitary

The fried catfish is the best in town. Hands down. Sugarmill is now second best. The hot links are delicious as well. It's quaint, nothing too fancy, building cafe, but what it may 'lack' in appearance is made up for in taste, service, and price and large portions.
