We liked everything about this hotel...but especially the friendly staff including housekeeping.

Our room was a deluxe room, two beds together. The bathroom was a good size, and plenty of closet space. Complimentary toothbrush/paste, coffee, etc in the room. Also, near the lobby area is complimentary cookies/bakery items along with an espresso/cap/coffee machine.

We had a couple special requests and were granted those...a tissue box in the room and we needed an extra converter.

I'll start off by saying that I have stayed at much worse, for twice the price. The other hotels in the area were charging $75-$189 a night. We browsed the reviews for all of the hotels around Valdosta and finally found this hotel. The overall rating for this place was much higher than that of most of the major chain hotels in the area. Since there were no recent complaints of bedbugs and roaches, we decided to punch the address into gps. The price was low, so we were prepared for the worst. When we pulled up, I almost did not stop. Instead, we decided to roll the dice and give it a shot. In it's heyday, I am certain that this was a nice 4 to 5 star hotel. Unfortunately, that was back in the 60's. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and efficient. After we parked in front of our room, I noticed that we had about 3 curious onlookers staring at every move that I made. I opened the door to our room and was pleasantly surprised at what i found. The room was clean and didn't look like anyone had been killed in it (Stayed in one in St Joseph, MO that looked like the crime scene crew just finished cleaning up). We searched the room and didn't find any bedbugs or roaches. My only real complaint was it smelled like someone had chain smoked a carton of cigarettes in it. The beds were comfortable and the shower worked as it should.

The place appears to have "long term" occupants. One of which was our next door neighbor for the weekend. It was pretty quiet until after midnight. Loud vehicles in and out, doors slamming and people arguing. I decided that it would be pointless to complain. There is a no refund policy, after all. We survived 2 nights, so that's a plus.

The online reviews had to be paid for, or reviews done by family and friends of the owners. There was no buffet or snacks, as other reviews had stated. The pool was filled in with concrete.

I guess that for the price, it was worth it. Again, I have paid more to stay in much worse conditions (due to lack of options).

It is not a Hotel, it is a Motel. I got what I paid for, sure BUT the rooms are outdated, there are guests “apparently” doing some sort of weird drugs deals, my room smelt like cigarette smoke and when I told the lady in the front desk she told me that it was my next door neighbor and that it was OK because he had been staying there for about 5 or 6 months, she did spray my room with a freshner liquid but at 6:00 am the neighbor apparently got-up because the smoke smell woke me up. Pillows and towels were maybe easily 10 years old, the TV is old and the carpet is sticky. The maintenance guy was very nice, but I cannot rate him outside this rating. Think about it, $40 for a run down Motel or pay an extra $20 and get yourself a nicer Hotel! I do not recommend it!

I chose this hotel due to the shuttle and proximity to studios. Every review of this place being great is true! Yes sometimes elevators are slow but we didn’t use it at the most peak times so we were ok. My kids 11 & 15 thought it was well decorated and we loved the shelves under the TV to store our backpacks.

Great location, easy walks to all city sites. Hotel staff very helpful and professional. The breakfast buffet is amazing and well worth the added cost. Rooftop views of city amazing. Go before 10pm when it gets locked for the night. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the room nice and clean, breakfast is splendid: you can order eggs as you like them, good choice of bread and fresh fruits, assortment of cheese, ham, olive oils,

Only stayed here for one night. Arrived on an early flight from Australia. Got to the hotel at 7.30am and they managed to check us into a room, even though it is meant to be a 4pm Check in time. The girl at the desk was very helpful - great service. Didn’t spend much time in the room as only had one day on Ashley St, but the room was great and the location absolutely spot on.

Rated 4.1 stars but should definitely be rated a 1.9. Bathroom was clean all except for the bathtub. We only stayed for a place to lay our heads but beware of the construction that they have going on night in their "remodel." No noise isolation so you hear every single car that drives by even if you're in a room all the way at the end of their complex.

Our group of seven adults stayed here for two nights while visiting GA in August. Our rooms were comfortable and the views from our rooms were amazing! The city looks so great all lit up at night. The hotel is in the perfect location if you're there to sightsee. One of the biggest reasons I choose to stay here is because of its close proximity to the Dolby Theatre.
