This was the worst hotel we have EVER been too.
They required a $50 cash deposit upon check in. The hotel smelled like musty dog. The lobby area was very dirty and filled garbage bags in the hallway.
The room smelled bad. The heat did not work. There was poop on the toilet seat. Carpet was dirty. Mold around the air conditioner/heating unit.
Called the front desk with no answer.
My husband walked the property to see if he could find anyone to help but didn’t.
Waiting 30 minutes for someone to come to the front.
When he finally arrives to the desk said we wanted a full refund because we were not staying in this filth. Went directly to the housekeeping folder to apparently see who cleaned the room.
Said all we want is a refund. Made us call the 800 number to “approve” the refund. The 800 number said the rest was cancelled and didn’t understand why we needed to call.
Never got an apology, can I offer you another room… NOTHING. The manager kept walking away on his personal phone speaking another language.
This place doesn’t not even deserve one star.
Fingers crossed we will be refunded the $122.00. Said it would take 5 days.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Youngstown/Girard Ohio, and it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The hotel had a pervasive and unpleasant odor throughout the premises, which was quite overwhelming. The smell was so bad that it seemed like they were using strong air fresheners to mask it, but it didn’t help much.
The area around the hotel felt unsafe, with reports of suspicious activities nearby. I didn’t feel secure during my stay, especially since some doors were unlocked, which added to my anxiety.
The room itself was in poor condition. It was dirty, with signs of mold and stained linens. The furniture was worn out, and some basic amenities were missing. The carpet looked old and dirty, and the overall cleanliness was subpar.
To make matters worse, the staff seemed unhelpful and unfriendly. They didn’t address my concerns properly and seemed more interested in charging extra fees than in providing good customer service.
Overall, I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel unless significant improvements are made. The combination of cleanliness issues, safety concerns, and poor management makes it a place to avoid.

I called ahead to rent a room for one night. I booked it because it had a indoor pool and hot tub. I called the day before we came to see what hours the pool was open because we had a busy schedule and the lady said from 2pm to 9 pm. When we got there to check in they said the pool and hot tub were down for maintenance. I asked them if it was down the day before and he said yes. I explained that I called the day before and they said it was open. So we go through with the check in, we get to the room. The TV remote doesn't work, so my husband took it down to the front desk. In the mean time I pull down the bed spread and there was hair all over the sheets so the guy from the front desk came up and said he would have housekeeping change the sheets. I told him I didn't want changed sheets. I want new hotel so I want my money back. He had to call management. We got our money back and left.

I begin by saying I gave it a one star rating because there was not an option to give it zero! The room was filthy, sheets had splattered paint on them, the hot tub was full of hair and dirt, the blow dryer did not work, the shower curtain would not properly close because the rod was on so crooked the curtain just slid down to the middle, the shower curtain had mold on the bottom corners, the bath towels had brown stains on them and were like sand paper, had to clean the mirror to see in it, the "complimentary" shampoo was half full. The complimentary breakfast was a grab-n-go, but first you had to find someone to crab it because nothing was in the kitchenette (we didn't bother). We would had been better off sleeping in our car!!!!

They were very unorganized, when I book the room they told me about the heated pool and the hot tub. I went out of my way to buy clothes cuz it's winter time for the hot tub and pool for me and my son, get there and they tell me that a pipe busted and it's closed. Our room was disgusting. When we got in there. The TV didn't work. They had to put batteries in. The fridge was hot. They had to turn that on so the food we had had to sit out. There were stains on one of the chairs of God knows what. Stains on the side of the bed. I asked if they can extend my check out. They asked me why I told them the reasons of the room and told me if I wasn't out by noon they would charge my card for another day. I only came here because they said they had a pool. I couldn't get refunded so we had to stay in this discussing room. I will never stay here again and it's sad cuz I'm a Wyndham rewards member. But definitely if I could give it no stars I would, but sadly I have to at least give them one. It was a no smoking room and I'm assuming hallway but people were smoking. You can smell cigarettes. You can smell weed. There were people all over the outside just standing around. Look like a bunch of junkies. They couldn't find the cart to put our luggage on to carry to our rooms so I had to make multiple trips with a young child which was completely inconvenient. I don't know how you could possibly lose something that big but they did. And the place had a weird smell to it. The ice machine was broken. The top lid was off and it was disgusting looking. So if you do stay there do not get ice.

Worst lodging experience I have ever had. Called ahead of time for a late check in and they said it was no issue. A large group of people checked in before we arrived. We arrived at 9pm and were given a room. When I opened the door the lights were off, bed sheets everywhere, and pieces of the bed frame on the floor. I shut the door immediately. I requested another room. The second room had 0 electricity. I talked to the workers and then they seemed to scramble for 15 min trying to find another room. They took us to the third room which was dirty and had an awful smell. We looked at one more room and this one was dirty as well. We felt unsafe and grossed out. The staff did try their best and give us some air freshener because they felt bad lol but that is just not going to fix the amount of issues with this place. By this point, we came to terms with the fact that any mediocre rooms were given to other people even though I confirmed my check in before arriving. We ended up booking a reservation at the Hampton Inn for the night at 10:30 pm. The Hampton Inn was well worth the money and the safety. I am unhappy that I did not receive a refund and very disappointed in the experience.

Multiple things in the room were broken when we walked in (fridge leg busted, bathroom door wouldn't close/latch/lock, shower curtain rod broken), heat worked but barely (had to set it at 78 and leave it running the entire time we were there to make the room bearable), the continental breakfast did not exist, there was a $50 cash deposit when we checked in which was not posted on their or Expedias website, the halls smelled absolutely awful, the jacuzzi hot tub in the room barely fit one person let alone 2 (which sucks when it's an anniversary stay), the key card quit working 3 different times, and finally the pillows and bed were absolutely awful and uncomfortable. Almost $300 for a two night stay was a ripoff to say the least.
