I had to stay at the Days Inn on Miller Road in Dayton after a canceled delivery in Cincinnati. I checked in around 8 PM on April 9, 2025, and stayed in room 126. During the night, I called the reception to ask if there were any bed bug issues, and they assured me there were none. The next day, I noticed a rash on my back, and after returning home, I developed red, bumpy bites, consistent with bed bug bites.

When I called the hotel management on April 11 to report the issue, the manager was rude and dismissive, denying any bed bug problem. This was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

Please be aware of the bed bug situation at this place. Stay at your own risk.

Location is good but rooms are absolutely disgusting. Would not stay here. If I could give zero stars I would. When I asked for two towels for my kids because it only came with two they said yeah, the rooms only come with two…. Ok. Currently trying to get a refund we’ll see what happens. Update they refused to refund us and we had to stay there because we didn’t have an option without a refund. They “upgraded” our room, it was the same exact layout, 2 doubles “non smoking” but the only difference was it was upstairs on the opposite sides of the hotel. It was much cleaner than the first room but both rooms had blankets with cigarette holes in them and plastic over the smoke detectors so it’s obvious other guests smoke in them. They came to “clean” the room twice. They made the beds and took the trash in 8 days twice and never took them to be washed or replaced with clean bedding. Only two lights worked in the new room also and it was the bathroom light where the toilet was and one at the very front of the room. It was very hard to do any work on a computer or even at the sink area without proper lighting. I would not stay here normally and would not stay here again.

Note to owners/management: when people choose to stay in a hotel, they typically expect a clean room and bedding. Non-smoking rooms to be free of smoke smells. And have working lights. When the rooms are not booked go into them and steam clean the walls, it will help tremendously with keeping the rooms clean. Keep the bathrooms/showers/tubs clean with regular cleaning between guests and when needed steam clean it. This hotel could be very nice with very little work but even the office was so dirty I wouldn’t ever eat breakfast there or trust anything served there.

Don’t let the pictures fool you! I went there just to get shut eye I ended up leaving not even 25 minutes later. I got my key for my room I couldn’t even get my door open, the curtains was not on the right way all the plugins didn’t work, the mirrors was NOT clean, the heat didn’t work, there was cigarette holes in the blankets on the beds plus some nasty smells that didn’t come out! $72.25 I paid for 1 night I didn’t feel comfortable so I made sure I got my money back and left! 0/10 don’t recommend! 😡

Positive: Smoke room available. Negative: Housekeeping would just open the door without letting anyone get to the door to answer. The staff were rude. The fridge was dirty. The smoke room had roaches. Wi-Fi doesn?t work. Not good breakfast.

I’m not one to complain, but this hands down was the worst motel I’ve ever stayed at. The smell literally took my breath away, and the rooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years.

I believe waiting for a pick up from the bus ride landed someone here cheap and affordable. Although I was told strangers linger on the outside constantly asking questions. Manager suggest the individual to stay to self and lock top and bottom.

Do NOT stay here it's disgusting. First off, I checked in late after my flight, they kept me outside in the cold and conducted business through a hole in the glass. The only thing nice about the room was new flooring and a painting on the wall. The rest of it was disgusting.
