I don’t really understand why this hotel has such a low rating. For its price and location, it’s actually very good. The rooms are decent, everything is quite comfortable, and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a good value stay.

I stayed here for two nights and parked for a week. The owners were super nice and accommodating. Abi at the front desk was just awesome! I had a special request and they were very willing to work with me.

They seem to have a comprehensive video monitoring system that gave me some assurance.

There seem to be some good eating and shopping options close by too.

I read many reviews before booking and still decided to give this place a chance. The staff is friendly, kind and tries very hard. My room was perfectly renovated, not to mention clean. The NEW OWNERS are trying very hard to revive an older La Quinta. It is going to take time and money to get this hotel back to its once glorious days. I think they are headed in the right direction. A couple of things that went wrong. One, they did not have the continental breakfast Days Inn reservations stated they had. The owners assures me they are going to include this again. Two, for those that want this, the pool is closed pending renovations. Third, things happen, the fire alarm went off at 3am and took awhile to shut off. We had a pleasant stay at a soon to be very good hotel. Best regards to the owners and hard working staff of this Reno Days Inn. We will see you again next year.

Positive: nothing Negative: if the hotel is in renovation, this fact should be noted prior to anyone booking a stay. This place was a dump, good luck with renovations to improve. rooms smelled of smokers or air deodorant that was too strong....at least there were no bedbugs

Room smelt like a mix of wet ashtray and old french fries, bed look like somebody lost a fight in it sheets, yellow walls, brown bathroom light flicker like it’s tryna tell ghost stories and the tub got stains shaped like countries 😂

The ac was screaming louder than my slots at the peppermill and the carpet sticky like spilled jack daniels luggage cart stuck between some alien machine and a dead vending box. No elevator, just stairs that smell like pee and failure.

FRont desk act like they allergic to helping. No refund no sorry just blank stare i’m like bro i got followers who’d roast this place into history 😂. Tech support is entirely bots when you call and no one helped me get my money back.

If you value your health your money or your soul don’t roll the dice on this place days inn reno. ain’t it fam 💀

Deplorable pool condition. No free continental breakfast. Very loud location due to the other “quality” guests that more than likely reside here. Lobby is hardly welcoming with an overwhelming stench of room spray and filth. No food within walking distance of hotel. Baby roaches all over the rooms. Forced to sleep with the lights on. Photos that corporate has posted do not reflect the rooms at this property. Drains don’t drain, toilets have low flush pressure.

Very expensive for a run down room and comes with no pool or continental breakfast like it says.
Room smelled like pee and cigarettes, very filthy, phone didnt work, TV was not working, no fire detector, and so much more. I could go on and on. This place needs shut down

I booked this with credit card points thinking it was a La Quinta and to my dismay in the airport as I was boarding to Reno, I saw it was this Days Inn instead.

Pros:
Very nice front desk man
My room smelled new and looks to be recently refurbished
My room was clean
Close to the airport

Cons:
No breakfast
Messy exterior
Room fan sounded like a vacuum
So many of semis and trucks parked overnight on the road next to the hotel
