This place is older but the owner is doing a wonderful rennnovation and really updating everything. My king room was very large and spacious with plenty of space to relax. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and reminded me of what I would find in a pricier property. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and easy to access with lots of dining choices (and a Walmart) within walking distance. It is right on the highway but I seldom heard traffic noise (or any kind of noise) from inside my room. We have stayed at the more expensive hotels in town and have found this to be the best, most comfortable value. We will definitely be back again!

Good stay for the money. Property was going through some needed renovations during my stay which in my opinion shows progress. I hope upgraded towels are part of the upgrade as well. The hotel staff was extremely nice and easy to work with. Would stay again for quick overnights.

Overall, we had a great stay. Beds were comfortable. Convenience to many food places, Aldi grocery store, Walmart, and gas station. Would stay here again. Loved that it's a smoke free hotel. Front desk staff & cleaning staff were very nice.

The ac, TV, fridge, microwave all worked, I had plenty of hot water for long hit shower, had coffee ( wish I had 1 more cup to drink) was right next to fast food that I walked to for dinner, the bed was wonderfully, it was very quite & I slept very well & my car DID NOT get broke into. The crew there was very nice to communicate with.NO BED BUGS, when I go back to phenix city I will stay at this Days Inn again. Thank u for making a single senior citizen female safe.

Great stay. Beds were comfortable. Convenience to a lot of food places, grocery store, Walmart, gas. Would stay here again. Loved that its smoke free hotel, too! Front desk staff & cleaning staff very nice.

DO NOT STAY HERE**

If I could give this place a one star I would. I booked here because it said it was near the military base, which it’s 25 mins away if you don’t hit traffic. The hotel looked a mess with half the “breakfast area” under construction of boxes and chairs flipped up. There is no elevator and at first I was asked if the second floor would matter because “it’s all they had” and then they decided to tell me after I said yes (thinking there was an elevator) that there was no elevator when I asked where it was. I was told then that I’m young and I’ll be okay by I’m assuming the manager of the property who was probably 5’ - 5’2 tan skin Indian women. We proceeded to drop the stuff off in the hotel and then quickly left. From there I was asked how the room is and I replied “great” because I literally walked in and dropped stuff off. I now know that was a trap because when I checked out 2 days early and decided to go to the Hampton Inn right outside of the military gates, I was denied for a refund of my two nights. The manager stated that I was young and happy, liked my room when asked. The “breakfast was bruised bananas, terrible stale coffee with powder cream and gross cheap sugar. 4 pieces of white bread and what looked like microwaveable waffles. The juice tasted rotten, hands down worst. The pillows were thicker than my head and a pain to get skinnier so I didn’t hurt my neck while sleeping. The bed was a hard as a rock and I got no sleep what so ever.

I booked this hotel for my elderly mother for a family funeral. While I didn’t stay here, I cannot speak to the rooms/experience. What I can speak to is that I prepaid the room but my mother got confused about the deposit she paid in cash. My mother did not have a receipt but left without getting her deposit back (which my mother thought she was paying for the room with). Long story short, I went to the hotel to discuss and the owners took a day to research with the person at work that morning and though I had little proof of the situation, they fully refunded the deposit which I did not expect. Very honest business people and were gracious in there handling as we buried a family member that day. Would definitely do business with them again because very few businesses would have done the right thing, but they did.

Stopped at the hotel in a very bad state of mind after learning the hotel up the street which had been booked by a 3rd party turned out to be a real DUMP. Appealed to the management team who were very empathetic and accommodating, allowing me some discount on a room that was not discounted quite as deeply as my trip advisor promised for 1 night until situation with advisor resolved. I was put very much at ease by the team's display of concern, compassion and professionalism to say nothing of the immaculately cleaned and spacious room assigned to me. I was able to relax and forget about the experience at the "crack hotel" until forced to deal with it the next day thru both the 3rd party advisor and the Days End Mgmt. The issue was resolved to my satisfaction with my registering to continue to remain at WDI for the duration of my stay. Kudos to this 5 Star establishment!!!
