This place treats people with no respect, got to my room expecting microwave to be operational, NOT call office and was told we have no other rooms available. Take it I stay here quite often for my 34 hour break, there is always rooms available here! it's one of the things I like about this place. I bought my food and can't cook it now, was told to bring my food to them and they'd microwave it for me but it a 2 step process involving beef, They are vegetarian so I just don't trust them with my meal!! I asked if they could get me a working microwave from a empty room and was told flat out NO!! And if yu expect a pool like shown in the picture, we'll it's been closed ever since it got warm enough to swim I've stayed here many times and all winter the pool was uncovered and looked nice and clean! soon as it got hot they put cover over it, This place doesn't care about there customers. They live here. Many that stay are here on business and have to stay weeks or days at a time, working from home they. It would be nice to be treated better but it's obvious these foreigners don't care about hospitality, it's just for the money. I usually stay a way nicer hotels than this but this is the best in this little town, I'd suggest staying in Decatur before coming here.

My husband left his wedding band on the bathroom counter. We called the same day and were told they found it but will not ship it. Obviously we are not from the area or we wouldn’t have chosen to stay in this nasty motel. In my opinion, this is unacceptable. As a decent human being that works with the public, I would have jumped over any obstacles necessary to get such an expensive and sentimental item back to its owner. I wish I could give this place negative stars—I’ve never been so angry with an establishment.

Regardless of the hard feelings:
Continental breakfast was sad. Granola bars, bagged bread, and sunny d. You’d have better luck at the local gas station.
Furniture in the room was scratched up. The trim and doors were dirty and worn.
When we arrived to check in, we had to call a phone number and wait for someone to come to the window and check us in. No one we talked to was pleasant or seemed like they cared at all about us.
Bottom line is, it’s a dirty place run by people who would take a wedding band to a pawn shop rather than take care of another human who made a mistake and left it there.

Actually very clean. All rooms ground level. Only issue was that you have to be admimant about keeping door closed or flies get it, but not much can be done about that. Overall very quiet and pleasant.

New flooring, sink and shower was updated as well. Front desk lady was very sweet and kind. Enjoyed her energy 👍🏻

Significant language barriers prevent reasonable service. My online reservation was lost. Staff were unable to provide WiFi login credentials in an area with spotty service and were unable to connect my call directly with a guest’s room despite rooms being equipped with phones. Don’t let your family get stranded here.

I had some project I was doing in Mouton and spent a few days here. I enjoyed my stay. The place was clean, peaceful and Rita was so helpful and super friendly.

Went in to the front desk to book a room. First of, the lady behind the desk was extremely unfriendly. Once I booked the room, I parked and went inside. As soon as I went inside, the horrible stale and moldy smell in the room, just about made me nauseous. Then as I began to look around the room, I quickly noticed that there were a couple of dead crickets in front of the air unit. I grabbed some tissue to pick them up and flush them down the toilet. I thought maybe a couple of crickets may have just gotten in through the door while the cleaning lady was in the room. However, as I was walking to throw the dead crickets into the toilet, I realized that the room was full of dead and half dead crickets and roaches. They were all over the room. I went to the front desk and requested my money back. The lady was extremely rude, hateful and unprofessional. She tried to say that I was lying and that she would not refund my money. I told her that the bugs were still there if she’d like to go look. Then she tells me that she would not refund my money, only put me in a different room. I told her that I did not want a different room and that she would give me my money back. She kept insisting that she would not refund me. We went back and forth, until she finally refunded me after I became irate. I definitely would not recommend staying at this roach motel. I don’t understand the people giving this place 5 stars. Anyone giving this place 5 stars, must be nasty themselves and not care about filth.

Positive: Had beds. Negative: Staff was awful. Had to call police to stay. No light in bathroom, no toilet paper, and floor was filthy. Staff needs more training on how to clean a room. Staff needs to be polite.
