Artificial intelligence (AI) canceled our reservation as we were on our way to the motel, returning to our North Georgia home from spring training in Florida. |We had stayed there March 4, on our way down, and it was marginally acceptable (e.g., no coffee at 7 a.m, with the attendant coming out with a frozen bladder of coffee she said would need a half-hour to thaw), but we kept our reservation due to the convenience of the location.|On March 6, the day before our scheduled March 7 arrival, we began getting text messages from the motel, and on March 7 got a text at 11:54 a.m. saying: Hi Paul Good Morning. May i know your arrival time please? I responded we anticipated between 8 and 9 p.m. I got an immediate response saying: Thank you for letting us know. We look forward to welcoming you between 8 and 9 pm. At 7:03 pm. after getting stuck in traffic heading north, I texted: ETA now 9:30 thanks. And we got an immediate response: Thank you for the update. We look forward to welcoming you at 9:30 p.m.|Then I got a phone call from 229-559-0229 on my cell at 9:19 p.m., and when I tried to reply got disconnected. I got a call back 2 minutes later from the same number, demanding our ETA, but the automated call would not respond to me. I phoned that number back at 9:24 p.m. and was advised by a young man to continue on to the motel, where our room would be awaiting us. When we arrived at 9:50 p.m., the young man, Kyle, said we did not have a reservation, and, upon further checking, said our reservation apparently had been canceled by AI. So we decided to go ahead and drive the remaining 5 hours home into the wee hours. Fortunately, we were not charged for the night of March 7, but we will never book here again.

The hotel has been declining for years. This time our room had a patched hole in the wall that was unpainted, a small hole in the tub, floors that looked like they’d been mopped with dirty water, and a few dried up grains of Chinese takeout rice scattered around. It was disgusting. I could not get internet through the wifi connection. Also, the “hot” breakfast wasn’t very hot. The eggs were barely warm and there were no sausages like there had been in the past. This hotel is NOT worth the nightly rate and I encourage everyone to stay elsewhere. If budget permits, choose the Hampton Inn across the street.

My husband was in town working 12+hours per day!!!! He should be able to take a hot shower, sleep on a comfortable bed and enjoy a decent breakfast n coffee in the morning BUUUTTT NOOOO!!! There isn't any hot water in the shower, breakfast is NOT served at 6 am nor is there coffee available in the morning or coffee pot n coffee in his room, the bed is so horrible he felt like he was sleeping on a pile of bricks. For the price you charge for these rooms today, he should not have to experience all these problems! Also, his reservation was checking in Monday and checking out Friday. He had to check out Thursday due to a family emergency. Check out time is 11am. He checked out at 12 noon! They refused to refund him the one night because he checked out ONE HOUR after the normal check out time!!! This is VERY poor business. Also the lady that he spoke to at the front desk does not speak good English nor understand English so therefore, there's absolutely no communication and understanding with customers and staff. This must change to continue to receive customers. They must be able to speak and communicate in ENGLISH!!! He stays in hotels quite often and this was the WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE he has ever encountered! We do not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

The man that checked us in was super nice. All staff greeted us. The room was not clean including dirt in the corners of the bathroom. There were gnats in the room and the room just overall felt unclean. I went back up to the front desk and was told that there were no more rooms to give us. We were just passing through and needed somewhere to sleep and I honestly would not stay here ever again. The price was unfair for the condition of the room. The breakfast was not abundant and matter of fact it was gone when we got there at 0800. Tried checking out in person and there was no one there so I had to checkout via text that was sent to me. Very impersonal. Went to find ice and it was back at the end of the hall way out of the way of the lobby and kitchen staff who said they weren’t allowed to give ice from the kitchen.

The front desk is wonderful! We have been here on and off for several months working and love our room. It’s nice and peaceful and always someone to help you if anything needed. We definitely will stay here when we are in town, can’t beat the hospitality and friendly staff!

We travel with our pets. This hotel was older but right off the highway. It was clean and tidy and had the essentials. Lots of bed pillows was nice as we had a choice. We had a good night's sleep and breakfast was available at 6 am. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

This hotel is very run down. The room was horrible, smelled so much like air freshener ... you could taste it! Yuck! The pillows where old and broken down and smelled bad! Gross! The doors and walls needed painting... looked terrible. There was only ONE bath towel provided! Really? Breakfast was a joke. Absolutely the worst Hotel I've stayed in decades and it was not cheap!!!

Roaches in room. Refrigerator was rusted. Bedspread was dirty. Garbage under bed. Asked to speak to manger 3 times, always told they are not available. When ask for another room was told they did not have nor any surrounding hotels. Very loud from traffic.
