Chose this hotel for its good location near my parents’ home. Booked for three nights but left after one. Did not realize I had stayed here some fifteen years ago since it is rebranded. If I had recognized it, I would have gone somewhere else as we did not like it then, either. |Desk clerk was cheerful at checkin but unable to move us to ground floor. No elevator and we are not good with stairs. Price was $103 not $75 as listed here. Booked through Wyndham app with senior discount. Also not published was their policy of charging entire stay when first checking in. |Furnishings were older but bed was comfortable. Room smelled stale but appeared clean except HVAC filter which was very dirty with quarter inch of dust accumulated. Cleaned it ourselves.|Door had deadbolt but security lock was broken.|Although we did manage a decent night’s sleep, and both desk clerks were courteous, this was a disappointing experience.

4th year of coming to Birmingham for a music festival. Every prior year we stayed at a Drury Inn and had a good experience. But we noticed it was becoming more and more unkept while increasing in price. Which didn't feel worth it at all. So, we tried finding a new place and found this Days Inn. I'm glad we did!

It's a great location with a ton of places within walking distance. The staff was nice and pleasant, and the room was comfortable and quiet. The price wasn't bad either, we did 4 nights for $300. So for what we paid, we were beyond happy, and would certainly come back!

The staff was welcoming, friendly, and polite. The room wasn't horrible, but it did need a good dusting and there were cobwebs in the corners. The bed and bathroom were visually clean.

Great location but old and outdated property.
I was getting ice for a drink cooler and the front desk person was so rude, yelling across the lobby. Isn’t there a sign that says no coolers. I said, No, where is the sign. Then she said, no coolers.
Mind you we were going to a baseball tournament and didn’t have time to stop and get ice for the SMALL drink cooler and she wants to act that way!! It’s an ice machine.. come on. So we checked out and went elsewhere. Breakfast isn’t worth even walking to the lobby and all the cleaning ladies eat there in the mornings and stare you down like you’re invading their privacy.
Old Clean room but we won’t return.

I stayed here back in June and had been there 3 was. I had enough points for 2 free nights but they still wanted my card .The next morning I had a charge for the room when I asked front desk I was told to take it up with my bank which didn’t seem correct, so I took it up with my bank and Days Inn Denied the charges and went back onto my checking account two months later and I now have a negative balance at my bank and had to pay for a room that I should’ve had free. This is Theft and because I am one single person I am unable to recoup my money from either the bank or Days Inn, which accounts to being stolen from as a consumer. Consumer beware they are thieves over there!!!

The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant. The rooms are clean. The staff is congenial. We enjoy each time we stay here.

This hotel was dirty. The floor was so dirty I had to keep my shoes on. There was urine drops around the toilet. The sheets looked and smelled unclean and the comforter had spots on it. The A/C did not work in the first room but they did switched rooms the next morning and it was just as dirty as the first room. The staff is very unfriendly if you go to them with a problem. It’s the worst hotel I’ve stayed in.

Way over priced. The total for one night was 150 booked a week ahead of time and paid for when it was booked. When I booked it said NO PET FEE but they charged us a pet fee when we checked in so the total was 170. This place is ok if you need a place to sleep and a shower otherwise I would never stay here unless you’re desperate. Pretty low budget for charging like that with or without the pet fee. Ludicrous price.
