I slept very well on the queen bed and found the rooms clean. The electrical worked fine. The morning breakfast helped, but could use improvement to add perhaps a hot choice like egg/chicken biscuits. The easy step shower was very welcome as was the in-shower shampoo & conditioner. The desk staff was courteous.

Rooms aren’t frightening but as you stay you’ll notice that they aren’t properly cleaned. Mold is like an additional guest alongside you. They clean the sink and counters with the same cloth they use to clean the toilet, if they clean them at all. Hands guests towels they’ve dropped on the ground and/or towels that are clearly dirty/used. They decide whether or not if they want to change your sheets or flip them around. Maybe even just make up the bed. They don’t clean floors ( hardwood ) unless it’s obvious they need to. They will continue to knock on the door a countless number of times and open the door. Yes, that seems normal until… there’s a do not disturb sign on the door and both locks on. They’ll open the door, peek in, and proceed to speak to you WHILE YOU'RE VISIBLY SLEEPING OR IN BED ( THE MEN!!!).

The ice has a smell to it, I’m sure mold lives there as well.
I’ve heard another person yell about bed bugs two rooms down shortly before ending my stay.
Oh NO BREAKFAST!! DON’T EVEN BOTHER ASKING, I’m sure they expect you to stay the night at their hotel and THEN travel to other hotels in the area for THEIR free breakfast. Yes, when you walk into the lobby you’ll see at the appliances to make breakfast but they don’t.
Some of the front desk workers don’t care about providing good customer service. There’s one young lady that was wonderful and I hate that I didn’t get her name before I left but you’ll know who she is if you still decide to go.
The price makes sense for the experience… sometimes.
I don’t recommend but if you want to laugh, starve, and sleep dangerous for $60/night (on occasion), come on down to The Days Inn.

OH and another good thing is the area. Not the view because you’re NOT getting that but there are a lot of stores, food, and amenities in this area.

Wonderful experience. The room was ready and cleaned beautiful. Beds are big and comfortable. We were at Stone mountain Park and more freezing after the laser light show. And they already had the heat on for us to warm us up. The young lady at the front desk was very sweet and helpful.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Our first red flag should have been the caution tape in front of the building upon arrival, but we gave it the benefit of the doubt. Like many, we were on a budget and only planned on staying for the night and leaving early the next morning. We wanted to stay as close as possible to Stone Mountain, in Georgia. This place was budget friendly and had good reviews on booking.com. BIG MISTAKE. Upon arrival, we dropped our things off in the room, changed and headed out within 30 minutes of checking in. We were gone for a few hours and brought back food to rest for the night after a 12 hour drive. When I went to throw away our food, I saw a bug! Once looking furthermore, I saw more roaches. And then all of a sudden, it was like they were coming from every direction! We immediately packed our things and went straight to the front desk. The man running it was very rude, even accused us of lying, saying "those aren't my walls". Despite our pictures, and all he had to do was go look in the room for all the dead bugs we had smashed. We left and stayed at a rest stop for the night as it was too late and would have been a waste to get another room. He tried to offer us another room, which we refused because i'm sorry if there is that many bugs in one room, I know there is bugs everywhere else! The next morning we were able to talk to the hotel manager who was much more understanding and considerate. We got our refund and went on our way! The one decent thing about this place was it's distance being only like 5 minutes from Stone Mountain Park. Definitely do not recommend!!

The property looked good as we arrived, the lobby was clean and had no smell that caught my attention. The meeting with the person behind the counter was pleasant and comfortable and I was pleasantly surprised. Unpacking my car in parking lot, I noticed the parking lot was clean and quiet, but we arrived at nearly 10pm so it might have been that most people were already sleeping. The sleeping room was clean and had no smell that caught my attention. The bed was very comfortable and smelled like fresh linens. The water facilities were clean, had good pressure, and gave no issues, except that the shower door didn't want to stay closed, it kept sliding open and because of this the floor outside the shower got extra wet. I have no idea how they would be able to fix that. I doubt every shower at this hotel has that same problem, so I do not have a negative idea of this hotel because of it. We did not get to the lobby for breakfast the next morning, so I have no opinion of it. I can add that less than a month before this, I stayed at this same hotel with my mom and had the same positive experience except that the shower door did not slide open. During that stay we did not get down to the lobby the next morning for breakfast, so I am unable to comment there. ||I purposefully chose this hotel the second time with the idea that the first experience was a happy one and I expected the second to be just as great. I was not disappointed. I would definitely stay here again, out of the last dozen hotels within the same price range I've stayed in over the last couple of years, this one rated highest on cleanliness, quietness, staff friendliness and cooperation.

I usually just pass on negative comments directly to a property owner but in the case of hygiene and bugs, I draw the line. I was put off a little by the red, green, and blue flashing lights on all of the exterior columns and the construction equipment at the entrance but let that warning pass. ||The room was clean and the bedding attractive but:||I awoke at 1:00 AM to the sounds of my wife screaming in the bathroom. When the lights were turned on, the counters and floor were alive with small 3/8 to 1/2 inch reddish bugs - I believe roaches. They were also in the shower and around the toilet. They quickly scurried to their drains and escape nooks and cracks but the damage was done in terms of our stay.||I called the night desk and a nice gentleman showed up at our door. We described the problem and he was attentive. He offered us another room but that felt kind of weird to move in the rain and in the middle of the night and our belief that if bugs were in one room, they were probably in all the rooms. I communicated that we would just leave and see if we could find lodging. We decided to stay and get up early and we would try to sleep with the lights on. ||When we left, the front desk person was aware of the situation but I had to press to get the paper work agreement that they would not charge us for the room. The front desk indicated that under no circumstances should we have stayed in the room. ||While I am at it, the parking lot and walks had trash and empty take-out bags scattered around, Even though advertised as smoke-free and refurbished, the counter tops had burn marks from cigarettes.||I won't go on as I am sure you get the message. Not only does the location lose income from my stay bit based on our negative experience, we will never stay in a budget motel like Days Inn again. ||My bad as the old adage that "You get what you pay for" is a good rule of thumb. In our case the "what we got" was unacceptable.

Language barrier made finding reservation hard for employee. Had to show from phone. Did not communicate well where room was located. Was using off peak hours but water was not hot at all. Room was not dirty but could tell linen was not changed. A few repairs needed in room. Best thing was the rate and location very quiet.

This is a 30 year old motel. What do you expect? Rooms are clean water is hot. The bed sheets and everything smelled clean and fresh. The AC work heat work fine . The most about is cheap and it’s a Wyndham Hotel so it does build your points.
