Rooms could have been better. Bed was very comfortable. Lights on the walkways needs replacing. It looks like there was some work being done on the second floor walkway as it was supported with jackstands. I stayed there before the room then was much better then the one I had this trip.

This was our second stay, and things have really gone downhill. We arrived and were told there was NO HOT WATER. Since we had pets and were limited on where we could stay in Altus, we said we were OK with that for one night, would there be a discount? we were told NO. NO discount for NO hot water. Our room, requested non-smoking, got a smoking room. Asked about that. Told ALL of their rooms are smoking. We were upstairs -NO lights on the outside stairs, which is not fun in the dark. Then we looked at the balcony cracks in the floor, chunks missing on the stairs - really? Shouldn't this be bulldozed down? Pool out of order and covered. The best I can say is there was a breakfast.

1) Overall the hotel is in poor condition. The ice machine does not work. The hotel exterior had a very noticeable amount of crumbling concrete and rusted metal. My shower did not have water. Not just low pressure, but ZERO WATER. However, the sink and toilet did have water. Also, the heat/AC unit in the room was VERY loud. There were collapsed traffic barriers (horses) in the middle of the parking lot and they were clearly in that same spot for a while.

2) When I complained about the absence of water in my shower, the young lady at the front desk was not helpful at all. Her initial response was "I think that happened before."
That's it. Nothing else. No offer to have someone check it or move me to another room. She simply said it had happened before. I then asked if something can be done about it. Only then did she say she'd let her manager know. Nothing was done for me so I abruptly checked out the next morning.

3) Wednesday, 01/22/2025: After finding another hotel (one that also allowed pets), I realized that I left my medication in the refrigerator and a large plastic dog food container in the room. I called the hotel and spoke with a woman (not the same one mentioned earlier). I explained what I left behind and she said the cleaning crew had already cleaned the room and did not let her know of anything left behind. I asked if she could double-check with the cleaning person and she said they had all gone home for the day and she would look into it tomorrow.

Thursday, 01/23/2025: After not hearing back from the front desk person, I called again. This time I spoke with a male. He had not heard of any items left in my room (215), but said he would check with the cleaning staff. He called me back a short time later and said the cleaning staff told him they threw out my medication and they did not find any container of dog food as described. He apologized for the medication being thrown out and said that was a violation of their policy. He said he would have his manager call me back to see if there was something they could do to make this right. As of today, 01/28/2025, I have not heard back from the hotel.

The only positive thing I can say is that although my (non-smoking) room smelled like an ash tray, it was not filthy and was at an acceptable level of cleanliness.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed at. First night they tried to charge multiple times just to get a room where the electric didn't work in half the room. Just to be switched to another room and charged again. So when I complained about not getting my money back as fast as they took it and the other issues I was experiencing, yet wasn't on them about, Mr. Allen told me I could get a refund and go find somewhere else to stay that fits my liking at 9 pm. Mind you I had to wait an extra 30 minutes after I arrived for him to show up and even check me into the room. With the amount of issues I experienced I could be typing an essay. I will never return.

They are not newly renovated. After a few days we had to go to the front desk for towels and soaps since maid service didn't stop by office.|Shower was hot and cold fluctuating. As of December 2024 they were still operating under COVID-19 protocols. |The indoor pool is closed. The photos listed are not the current condition of the hotel. |The lighting outside does not work.|The towels were soft.

It's an insult to be charged to stay here. Stains all over the carpet. The smell of smoke and mildew made me want to vomit. There was zero hot water in the room, the outlets were so worn out that anything you tried to plug in would sag out so badly that it wouldn't complete the circuit.

This place is tired and outdated. It needed a remodel 20 years ago. It advertises free WiFi but it doesn’t work and when it does it’s temperamental and not secure. The staff is friendly but similar to the WiFi.If you want a place to lay your head then fine, but if you have legitimate business and need regular accommodations then sleep in your car.

If I could give this place a 1/2 star i totally would

I reserved this Hotel for a weekend softball fundraiser tournament which was only 10 min from the ball field and had a pool so the tiny human could swim.

This is NOT A HOTEL!!! it’s more like a get wasted take a rando to a trash hotel and then leave MOTEL!!!

Upon checkin the person checking me in was friendly. The lobby was cleaned. I noticed that the pool was covered and she said pool was not working, Ice Machine was not working. Went to look at the room and it smelled like smoke and the beds looked like they haven’t been updated since 1980’s.

My husband went to go cancel the reservation and said that the room smelled like smoke and so we wanted to cancel. The lady was nice about it but said that the room I requested was a smoking room! I would never pick a smoking room let alone a hotel that allows smoking.

Like other reviews this is not a HOTEL. It is a glorified Roach Motel that needs to be shut down and built new.

And don’t get me started on the pricing. Way to expensive for what they have available.
