Very nice venu on a beautiful creek. Staff was great. Food and cake was very good. Bar service was excellent. The whole experience was great. This is also a mini museum for the Galbreath family and all their accomplishments in horse racing and Professional baseball. Very interesting memorabilia especially the note from Queen Elisabeth!

Choosing the Darby House as our wedding venue was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. The venue is absolutely breathtaking. There are so many beautiful locations for photos and our guests could not stop raving about our venue. Not only is the venue beautiful, but the staff is extraordinarily helpful. Our day of coordinator, Katarina, seamlessly mapped out our special day down to the minute, ensuring everything ran smoothly. She was attentive and made sure my husband's and my only job was to enjoy the day. I cannot speak highly enough about this wonderful venue.

Our wedding was absolutely seamlessly incredible, and a large part of that was due to our incredible vendors, including of course Darby House. The site is literally made for weddings—we had plenty of space for our wedding party to get ready, ample room for dinner and dancing, and every photo location around the event space was mind blowingly beautiful. The event staff were incredible with helping iron out all the little details and making sure everything went smoothly. Big thanks to Nicole and Andrea for their dedication to making our day perfect!

Using Darby House for our wedding was the best decision ever. Three months after securing the venue, my friend from high school ended up landing a job there as their Operations & Events Manager and by the grace of God, we were given her as our day-of coordinator. They say "day of", but Alissa went over and beyond for us for months prior, and I know it wasn't only because she knew me beforehand; that's just who she is and how she operates, which I really respect. Alissa's manager, Nicole, always stepped in when/if she needed to. Needless to say, we never felt alone at any time in this process and it took so much weight off of my husband and I's shoulders. Darby House was extremely accommodating and flexible on all platforms, all while still remaining true to who they are as a company (there's clearly still rules you have to follow haha). The day ran so smoothly; I was honestly so impressed with all the help setting up when I walked in at 11am to get ready. Truly blown away by how much they all CARE and it's not even their own day. There were so many little requests from myself leading up to the day, and even day of, that were always answered/handled like a boss. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and God puts people/situations in your life for one reason or another, as well. With that being said, finding Darby House on TheKnot (I was not a normal bride - I disliked searching for venues and basically disliked all wedding planning haha) was a gift from God. He knew I would (my family and husbands family, as well) be in good hands. Boy, was he spot on! I was very up front with Alissa about my "vision" (no vision) and was so unsure how to go about any type of planning. She was so transparent, honest and helpful - I really couldn't have done it without her personal and professional advice. Almost two weeks later and my guests won't stop raving about how Darby House was the most beautiful venue they've ever seen and/or have gone to. The most frequent wording that described Darby was "magical". I'd have to say, I agree. I was speechless!!! Everyone was so lovely and I can't speak more highly of Darby House and their employees. Shout out to Alissa Chenetski and Nicole McCrate for being the absolute best, at all times. Ya'll are the true MVP's and from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!!! Our special day was special because of you and your hard work. A day we will never forget. All the best, The Young's.

We are so unbelievably happy with our decision to choose Darby House as our wedding venue. It provided the exact setting we were looking for with an outdoor ceremony next to the water and a lovely backup indoor option in case of rain. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, eliminating the need for elaborate decorations, and the land made for so many beautiful photos. Nicole was our initial point of contact as well as our day of coordinator, and she was absolutely amazing to work with. She was extremely attentive, answering all our questions, and accommodating us in any way she could to make sure our wedding day was perfect. Their list of recommended vendors made the selection process much less overwhelming and provided us with confidence that we were hiring reliable, professional people who were familiar with the venue. I can’t recommend Darby House highly enough.

I don't even know where to began with this review. First off, this venue is absolutely stunning and by far was the best all around venue in Columbus. The staff exceeded my expectations and truly made our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be. Alexa, our coordinator, was amazing and very detail oriented. She was able to answer all of my questions in a timely manner and work with us on our budget and help us with everything we wanted for our wedding day. Nicole was also amazing to work with and very helpful and detailed. The staff treats you like family and was able to help us with anything we needed on wedding day and allow everything to flow smoothly. Our guests all commented on how beautiful our venue was. Sure, it is a little pricey but in the end it was truly worth it for us as we couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. I highly recommend this venue. Be sure to reach out and book early!

Honestly, we fell in love with Darby House the second we drove onto the property. With the beautiful tree lines and white fences, my husband and I could already picture the pictures we could take there. Things only got better when we saw the actual venue and how GORGEOUS it is. The waterside terrace made for an absolutely dreamy wedding ceremony, and I couldn’t imagine a better reception room for after. Throughout our entire engagement, the staff at Darby House, especially Alexa and Nicole, was so flexible, responsive and helpful. For example, since most of our wedding party was coming from out of town, Alexa was willing to do a late-Friday rehearsal for us. My husband and I were both the first in our families to get married, but Alexa was so organized and asked us anything we’d need to decide on for the wedding. And on our wedding day, Alexa was there from start to finish, helping everything run SO smoothly. I really don’t think there’s anything that could have made our wedding day any better — it was perfect! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
