Bed is itchy. Affected both wife and self. The bed is also broken down with no back support. Sunk in bed like sleeping in old bean bag chair. No curtains in bedroom. There were shades but the lack of curtains gave the light bulb in face effect. View from room was great. Everything worked. Plenty of room. 1 tv only. Internet completely inadequate. Cell service from tmobile spotty to none in area. Golf courses not green in march. Coopers Hawk was nice but out of season. Turkey mountain was in rough shape. Cabin was fine but if you have sensitive skin or spinal issues or just old, I would bring a blow up mattress.||Fishing available and nice dock on property. Fishing out of season or poor. Tried lake and strawberry river. Strawberry nice place to Kayak and beautiful. All people around here are friendly good folks. Smile, waive, treat guests great.||If your younger and hearty I would give it a go. I might come back bring my own sheets and blow up mattress. Check your cell service. If your kids need gaming type internet, better bring your own. ||There is a combination work out, gaming and pool area. It is helpful for kids and swimmers. No weights for the gym rats. ||Again, the people and staff here are first class. Area is beautiful and remote. Rivers and lake for fishing. But, I need to sleep. . .

We drove 1 hour one way to the aqua park for my son's birthday with friends. We waited all day for the thunderstorms & rain to break so we could come. I called the day before to make sure they'd be open if it wasn't storming & they told me yes. I bought tickets online an hour & half before our chosen time. We get there early to get life jackets, etc. About 15 minutes before our scheduled time, I get a call telling me they're closed. One of the other guests was told by a resort employee that they were opening at 3:30 which was our scheduled time, but they still didn't open. There were probably 30 people that were there like us, to find out they're closed. Their website didn't show closed & there were no signs at the aqua park stating closed. We had some really disappointed kids & we waisted our time & gas to make the trip. They told us they were closed due to flooding, but we've been there in the past when the water was high like today & they didn't close. My advise for anyone traveling very far is to call the day of & make sure they're open before wasting your time.

The resort is very nice. No major complaints except they could have provided a few more plates and utensils. Also, a screen door would help keep the flies out. If you stay here, bring a flyswatter with you!

This is one of my favorite places I frequent yearly for a 3-week Sabbatical! The amenities are upscale and all inclusive including well-furnished kitchen and jetted bathtub. The staff is like family to me... always kind and helpful. This last visit, I found that the resort now has an activities director who did an excellent job of adding fun things to do during the cold month of December. I also appreciate Papa Dick's pizza on the property. Great food and also most friendly staff. I highly recommend this resort as a peaceful, quiet away surrounded by a beautiful lake and walking trails! Several quaint towns nearby incuding Ashflat, Village Creek, Hardy, Mammoth Springs, and the free Wonderful White River Christmas Lights in Batesville, AR.

We have been coming for a few years and enjoy the peaceful time there.. This year had less events but still enjoyed the water aerobics and going to the pool and hot tub. We will be back but will come a little later so we can enjoy the weekly events.

The resort itself was amazing. However they need to be more transparent about there additional charges. The resort knows what additional charges will be prior to booking and that specified number should be included in the information and not embedded in a lot of other information that doesn't apply to you.

We had a lovely vacation here! The location is perfect for getting away from it all! We had no cell service and the wifi was iffy, so it's not great if you plan to get some work done. But if you want to unwind and kick back this is the perfect place. The staff is very helpful and they have activities in the Rec Center every day to keep you entertained.
