This hotel is only three months old, so everything is fresh and nice. When we arrived we were greeted very warmly. Jazeline explained all of the amenities of the hotel and made us feel welcomed. Our king suite room was comfortable but could use better and more lighting. The bathroom lighted mirror was great. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

Our breakfast item purchased at the cafe (charged to our room) was not deducted with our food and beverage dining credit (elite benefit) and had to call them to (quickly) correct it. So make sure to double check on this before checking out (we did mobile check out).

Overall everything else went well and will recommend this hotel!

This is a brand new Courtyard Marriot situated right off of I-75. This is not a refurbished hotel, it is a brand new building. I arrived late after dark and was pleased to see the huge parking lot was extremely well-lit even at the farthest spaces out. The grounds were clean and immaculate, with new landscape filling in nicely. I had pre-checked in with the app but grabbed a key from the front desk who was very friendly. I made my way to my room where everything I need was along the way. The 24/7 gym, the ice maker and vending are all before reaching my room and clearly marked. The decor is simplistic and beautiful. The room was a king bed suite with desk, couch, ample dresser space, pull out coffee maker and microwave. The layout was very suitable and made the large room easy to walk through and spacious. The bathroom was very clean, the shower had great pressure and got very hot. Now for the little details that set Marriot properties above the rest. Each nightstand had its own night lamp and outlets, including a usb charging outlet on each side. The couch and the desk also had usb charger outlets. There are no type c charger outlets so bring your usb cube for charging phones. The TV is massive, excellent picture, with a swing arm allowing you to set the position towards the couch or bed. You can handle your account through the TV, look at nearby restaurant menus, and explore other Bonvoy properties. The bed was clean crisp and comfortable as were the pillows. The roll out dresser was nice to put suitcases on as well as roll under for more room. The bathroom was equalized with full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The gym was state of the art and had well-rounded equipment for both cardio, yoga, and strength training. The next morning I was able to see the grounds during the day and the outdoor pool area was nicely done. It had a wheelchair lift accessibility and beautiful fire pit seating areas throughout the courtyard. The breakfast and coffee bar was nice and offered a small but thorough menu hitting all the basics. The entire staff was exceptional and friendly. Maria in housekeeping greeted me so warmly that morning, her friendliness was genuine and contagious. The marketplace vending at the front desk has a wide variety of snacks, drinks, and essentials for your stay and the lounge area was beautifully done with an array of booths with private TVs, along with conversation chairs and tables. The bathroom in the lobby was even sparkling. I had a very hard time trying to find anything less than 5 star at this property, which is why I never fret when booking with Marriot. They set the standard in cleanliness, staff excellence, and price point. For those traveling, this is a great brand new facility to stay at for those looking to get inside Florida to call it a night. There’s alot of restaurants open late, a handful of delivery service options from said restaurants, three or four within safe walking distance. There’s lots of staple shopping off this exit, outlet shops, coffee stops, and a huge 24/7 Planet Fitness. This is my new go-to stop on east coast drives.

I booked hotel as it was brand new. Most Marriot's are clean which is my number one concern. Taking a shower the night we arrived, I noticed there was some hair in the shower. When I turned the water on the shower head was pointed out and the floor got wet. The shower towel was on the floor so I wiped up the water as it was very slippery. The towel underneath was black from the floor being so dirty. The bath counter was dirty with grime on it. Upon check out I showed a picture of the towel and she just said that she would tell her manager. There was no apology. The manager called us a few hours later and offered us points for Marriott. The points mean nothing as we are not going to stay in another Marriott. I told her so, but that is all she offered.

The Kleenex box was in the "blue" line and only 2 sheets were left. That was another indicator that this room was not serviced well at all. You start looking for things when you notice one thing out of place.

For the high price of a Marriott and knowingly you get no water or breakfasts without paying, you expect cleanliness to at least be in place.

I would not recommend this hotel or ever stay at another Marriott again. There are several other chains that are better ones in Lake City, Fl that are near this hotel.

We stayed one night , everything was lovely, the outdoor space , pool area was very relaxing. An inviting Bistroth/ bar area, as well. |The staff was amazing, everyone we encountered seem to enjoy their job & so very friendly. |Refreshing to stay at such a welcoming business.

I was in town for a wedding and the hotel I had originally booked was not great and luckily I was able to come over to the Courtyard and they were able to get me booked as a walk in. The facility was brand new, very clean, and the location was great.

Katie and Erica at the front desk were absolutely amazing! Super sweet, gave great suggestions for local restaurants, and really helped me out with getting me a room last minute. I felt very safe and the staff made me feel comfortable as a solo female traveler. If i'm ever in Lake City again I will 1000% be staying here!

The location was very convenient, and the hotel was new. We had limited interaction with staff, but they were friendly and helpful.

I wish Marriott would inject a little more warmth and personality into these hotels. The design is so sterile, stark, and institutional! For this price it was not that luxe feeling.

After 16 hours of driving and icy weather, it was absolutely incredible pulling up to a hotel with a large parking lot and amazing customer service even at 2 in the morning! Jordan was incredible, he was attentive and very welcoming. Jordan helped solve a reservation issue that would have left my pregnant wife and I left to searching for another hotel if he hadn’t asked the right question and taken initiative. Thank you Jordan! (P.S. The rooms are incredible as well.)
