I really thought I would never have had to leave a review like this, but I am and hope someone from corporate sees this. I am highly upset. I stayed here with a friend for New Year’s. It was okay; check-in was mediocre, and the person who was there on 12/31/24 around 6:40 p.m. had a slight attitude, but we pushed forward and went with our day/night. We left to go out around 11:30/40 to enjoy our New Year and came back to the hotel around 1:30 a.m. I woke up the following morning around 10 a.m. to sit out in my car, and I saw glass ALL over the parking lot. 11 or more cars were broken into overnight; things were stolen from vehicles, and vehicles were damaged. There wasn’t really anything done except police reports and reports to the front desk that were hopefully sent off to corporate. Although, the man at the front desk that morning was very apologetic and helpful, I was highly upset and infuriated with the situation because no one should have to go through this; it was the last on my list I thought I would have to worry about. There is a camera outside (looking at the building) in the left corner that doesn’t work, so it’s obviously there for show. I hope something gets done about this, and security in that establishment gets better.

Edit: Corporate called they can’t do anything about my property since it was “park at your own risk” so anyone looking to stay here.. “stay at your own risk” if anything happens they won’t compensate or replace anything 🤷🏾‍♂️

I think this is a really nice hotel. The service at the the restaurant is unapologetically awful. You can go for years without getting service that is this horrendous. It was like a comedy. But I see reviews that the hotel itself is not nice and that is incorrect.

Bistro games here are strong. 7 dollars extra for a piece of bacon on a burger. And drink surcharge if you order a drink “neat” making it 15 dollars for a shot of alcohol. Mixed drinks are 14 dollars but they have ice as I was told.
Got a glob of tots all stuck together. Ketchup was in short supply.
For the hotel I’d say rooms are good. Didn’t get maid service, not sure why.
I called to ask if pool was open before
booking and was assured it was-it isn’t. OK, pool area is open for a fire pit, not swimming.

The manager here has the gall to talk crazy to the customers who come here. I asked why when I order delivery do I have to walk down to the lobby from the top floor every single time. He proceeds to tell me it's for my safety. I told him ok but it's for me, I know the delivery is coming. THEN he came up with the excuse of well we don't know what other rooms they would go to. So I said well instead of making everyone come down, why not just drop it off via hotel employee. He said they don't have the time to deliver food to anyone. If he were around his station for longer than a minute, dipping off behind Starbucks. I'm NEVER staying here again. I have to get up at 4am to educate hospital staff on how to take better care of their patients, and I can't even get my damn breakfast to my door. Hilton treats their customers with the BEST service. This is my first and last time in one of these chain hotels. If I was his boss, he'd be demoted to only food delivery.

Distinctly mediocre. The rooms are fine - clearly a recent renovation where they decided to get rid of all the bathtubs. Sufficient USB power ports. Zero information at check in on whether there's breakfast available or how to connect to the wifi. I had to go for over twelve hours with no room key because of system problems, an employee had to escort me to my room every time. They charged the room to the wrong card, putting it in the card I swiped "just for incidentals" rather than the card I booked with that has the travel points. Awkward to access the hotel as the road is divided at that point so sometimes you need to make a uturn. It will be convenient to the children's hospital once they finish the road construction around the hospital. As it was, it was nearby but not actually convenient.

Bathroom area tiny, fitness room kept at 61 degrees, door to adjacent room had 2 inch gap at bottom. Food options overpriced. Very nice staff!. Parking lot empty but still charge 10 dollars a day. Located right off I-85 and Druid Hills exit. Close to Emory and Atlanta childrens hospital.

The hotel has had large components of it that have been redone to update the esthetics. It is clean both in lobby, hall and room. However, I have several issues. First, despite NOT being in the city and having ample space and a hotel specific parking lot, without disclosing but simply handing a piece of paper at check-in, they charged $10 a night for parking.

Secondly, we had a suite, and there were no linens or pillows for the pull-out, even though we stated we'd have 4 in the suite at time of reservation. We arrived in the evening, tired, and tried to go to lobby to request linens. They said they couldn't give them but someone would bring them up. It took an additional phone call and 40 minutes when all we wanted was to go to sleep.

Finally, the master bed linens were a bit questionable. I don't know if this cost savings, shortages, or new methods, but I don't care for it and not sure how this is being cleaned appropriately. They have an unprotected comforter (that is paper thin) with a sheet simply tucked over the edge (see photo). The only coverings are bed sheet, comforter, top sheet.

For a Marriott, and active Bonvoy member, I expect more.

Systems down. Rep was ethically bad. Lied and charged me twice my rate. I've been trying for days to resolve the matter but no one there cares to do their job. Spoke to two mgrs labarron being one of them. Complete disaster. They never called me back to address the matter. I ultimately had to be refunded by my CC company. I would not recommend patronizing this location at all. The is actually a full service Marriott across the street, roughly the same rate and all with much better service.
