The place is overpriced for the condition of the rooms and especially the beds. My back hurt for two days after sleeping in the hole they call a bed, I would have felt better if I slept in my car. 251 dollars for the privilege of the 9 hour stay.

I travel stay to Albany GA almost once a month usually for one night. Since I am a Marriott Bonvoy customer, my choices are the Courtyard, Fairfield, or Townplace Suites. Usually I check in late and depart early the next day. My last 4 or 5 stays I have used the Courtyard since it underwent a recent renovation. Initially, my stays were pretty nice with the rooms being very clean and the front office staff always helpful and friendly. However, my stay on Nov 25th was not so nice. After checking in at 10pm, I tried taking a shower but the water was barely luke warm. Also, the shower head was not adjustable and was shooting out 2 strong streams of water. So, I took a short, cold shower and went to bed. The next morning I tried the water in the sink and could not get warm water. Incidentally, I ran both the shower and the sink for at least 5 minutes but still no hot water. To make things worse, there were 2 bugs (earwigs) walking around on the bathroom floor. Upon checking out at 6:15 am, I told the associate at the front desk about the lack of hot/warm water as well as having to share the bathroom with bugs. She offered no apology at all and only mentioned that most guests say that the shower has to be run for 15 minutes to get hot water. That was it, no apology or offer to comp the room or add points to my Bonvoy account. Looks like I’ll have to consider other hotels in the future…….

Front desk did a great job with getting me settled into my room. Cleaning staff was very friendly. Emily at the bar did AMAZING with making the food and running the bar. Food was so good. My cable didn't work for some reason but that was minor. Overall, great experience

Front desk, incredibly personable and quick to check me in.

The gym was disappointing. Even by hote fitness center standards. Staining on the ceiling tiles. A broken machine. No water in the water dispenser. No paper towels to clean equipment. No towel in the gym. 1 yoga mat that was torn up.

My room had trash in the bin when I arrived. Water staining in the coffee maker. Staining in the shower. Black hairs in my towels before I used them.

Decor was updated and modern. Thermostat worked great. I loved having a balcony which is rare in this kind of a hotel. Great workspace if you’re traveling for work. Right off the highway but tucked back off a road. There was a police car parked at the end of the road by the hotel which gave some peace of mind.

Had a bar which is nice and a cafe with an open and spacious lobby.

Goods and bads. Cleanliness though is a non negotiable.

What a lovely stay at the Marriott in Albany, GA. Passing through town and the staff could not have been more gracious and accommodating. Emily was so sweet and took great care of us, as every staff member we met did too! Highly recommend!

You can’t go wrong at a Marriott property right?! Wrong!! … stayed in room 208 and that bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever laid on. You could feel the bed springs!! And the shower was so small. The shower head needs to be replaced. Was very disappointed! If you’re in Albany and want to stay at a Marriott property, go stay at Townplace Suites across the street. Only stayed here because other friends had booked there.

TV's do not work, internet is questionable at best, no breakfast. I was asked at check in if I wanted housekeeping which I declined, i left the no housekeeping tag on the door only to come back from work to find the tag gone and evidence of people in my room.
