After a 13 hour drive we were looking forward to using the hot tub. Find out when we checked in that nope, it's not working.
So we get in the elevator to go to our room on the 2nd floor. The floor of the elevator is absolutely filthy, which it remained for our 3 day stay.
When we get to the room I attempt to use the key card about 5 times with no success. My husband finally got it to work after several tries.
The room was fine, but the bathroom was super outdated. The door handle was practically falling off.
On our 2nd night there we tried to use the microwave. Hit the button to open it and it turns on. The light, the sound, the rotating tray inside....all on with the door open. Seems dangerous but I'm no engineer.
The breakfast was a hot mess. There was maybe one scoop of watery eggs left in the pan and it was never replaced the entire time we were at breakfast. We made waffles but there was only sugar free syrup. We asked the attendant for regular syrup and she comes back with a bottle with a sugar free label, only she had scraped off the words sugar free. Like how old is that bottle and where are you refilling it from
We were told that housekeeping cleans the room every 3 days unless requested. That was fine for us. But every time we set foot outside of our room the housekeepers questioned us if we were leaving, are we done, are we going? I mean multiple multiple times a day. It felt like they wanted to rush us out of the room.
I chose this hotel because I've stayed at some really nice Country Inns. This is definitely not one of them.

If I could give a zero star I definitely would. First of all after paying I was told the hot tub wasn’t working and the pool room was cold. I proceeded to stay even after that . The breakfast was awful , the bathroom tub was peeling and the staff that I dealt with was incredibly rude with exception for one young lady. There are restaurants and bars within the area of the hotel so we sent our teenagers back to the room to charge there phones the one manager on duty name Carmen called the police on them when they were simple in the one charging their phones . This manage had her infant baby at work with her but called the police on my teenage boys she clearly racially profile them and I will file a lawsuit. DO NOT STAY HERE !!! I REPEAT … DO NOT STAY HERE

I recently stayed at this Country Inn Hotel and had a mediocre experience. While the staff was friendly, the hotel itself fell short in several areas.

The AC in my room only worked on fan mode, which made it difficult to regulate the temperature. The shower tap was also broken, making it hard to adjust the water temperature.

Additionally, the USB charging ports didn't work, which was inconvenient. The beds were squeaky and uncomfortable, and the breakfast options were limited - they didn't even have pepper!

Overall, it felt like the hotel was cutting corners to save costs, with cheap fixtures and fittings throughout. While it was okay for a short stay, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free experience.

Perhaps with some renovations and attention to detail, this hotel could reach its full potential.

Not a 3 star hotel. Staff was courteous and accommodating, but that's about the only positive I have to say. We didn't sleep, you could hear everything on the whole floor. The pool looks like they haven't drained and cleaned it in decades, just thrown in more chlorine and painted on occasion. The rooms and bathrooms have been painted over and over, and they didn't even seem to try to match the white paint so you could see the roller marks. It's old and gross. The breakfast was lacking - the eggs and meat were pretty much empty (at 7am) and were sitting out for a while unchanged. The fruit was rotten. Gym equipment broken except the treadmill. It was kind of a gross place to stay, especially when expecting at least a 3 star, not a 2 or 2.5.

You get what you pay for. This was likely the worst experience we’ve had at a hotel. And it felt more like a motel experience than a hotel experience. We arrived late, but were serviced well at the front desk. No hiccups there. The room was large, but cavernous and certainly not comfortable. Everything was old. Luckily we were only staying for one night as we were back on the road head south the next day. Checkout was easy. Breakfast was a joke, although free. We opted to eat out instead. The bathroom was the worst part. We refused to shower since the shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. We do not recommend this place, unless you’re squeezed for a place right off the interstate and near many attractions in Savannah, which we weren’t.

Absolutely horrific experience. The hotel had a “miscommunication” and tried kicking me out of my hotel room a day earlier than what I was booked for. I paid for everything and they gave me a hard time about it saying “the system wasn’t updated” ! Sorry but I paid in full the whole week so I’m staying the WHOLE WEEK! the room was disgusting I had to go out and by my own cleaning supplies to clean. The cleaners at this hotel need to be trained IMMEDIATELY!!! I have so many pictures but I’ll share the one that really caught my eye ESPECIALLY after they “cleaned” the room.

I had an awful stay at this hotel. The guest services (Kara specifically) were completely unhelpful and rude. Front desk messed up our check in, and threatened to throw our stuff out of our room if we didn’t come back and pick it up while we’re on vacation… The room was filthy with dust, stains, and a bad odor, the bed was very creaky, the floor was bowing and dipping. To make matters worse, many of the amenities were broken or out of service. This hotel was a huge disappointment and I would never recommend it to anyone.

Positive: Location to fill destination Negative: Coffee pot was missing components to operate (pod tray), I informed staff they simply said "okay", and said, "there is coffee here" (in the lobby). Pool & Hot tub were 'out-of-order', they appeared to have been (yellowed paper signs) for quite sometime.
