Fantastic food! The special was perfectly seasoned and presented. The service was great. I highly recommend you visit this wonderful local restaurant. The only thing I can say that could use an upgrade is the outside lighting in the parking lot and the approach to the restaurant. It's dark and gloomy. Other than that, 5 stars all around.

Food was very good, service staff and atmosphere was great. Con: over priced. Definitely ask the price of the specials because we were taken aback when the check came. It was not crowded on a Saturday night, we assumed this was why.

The food is not horrible. I must say, I had the chicken marsala and I was not a marsala. It was a brown gravy with mashed potatoes. Which they called a potato puree . It was horrible etable but not the flavor of a correctly made chicken marsala. I will not eat here again because of this one dish. If you are aspiring to be a higher level/quality establishment. All of your dishes should be held at a high standard. I didn't taste anything in this dish other then a very basic brown gravy. Not a marsala. No onions, no mushrooms, no flavor. Not even the slightest hint of wine from a de-glazing. But ,I have been an executive chef for 18+ years and I can be hard on these mediocre cooks /chefs. One last thing the stellar people of Moodus/East Haddam will love it for the most part. They are not accustom a 3 to 5 star restaurant. Sorry im so harsh I just expect more from a Ace that charging 25 bucks for a little chicken in brown gravy with mashed potatoes. I did expect a lot more then what I ended up with. Don't go in with high expectations and you will probably leave somewhat pleased.

Food was good. Staff was incredibly rude. We discovered, upon receiving our bill, that we paid for soft drink refills. No big deal; except we were not informed of that policy when ordering. Not a really big deal. But, when we suggested they might be upfront about this, the staff basically - and unflatteringly -implied that we were unsophisticated consumers more accustomed to eating at McDonald's. They shared this - in our presence - with a couple sitting at the bar only a few feet away from us. Eye rolls were exchanged between staff and the couple - again, while sat there! Extremely low class behavior. We've eaten at better restaurants. We've paid more for meals at better restaurants. NO BIG DEAL. Rude and insulting behavior in the hospitality industry IS A VERY BIG DEAL!

Food & service are always amazing. Bartenders always serve up great drinks. Servers go above & beyond to make sure the customer is taken care of. It’s truly a hidden gem in East Haddam. Highly recommend everyone in the area to give Corvo a visit and enjoy your time. You won’t regret your decision!

Incredible family run spot. The food, especially, their seafood is to die for. Definitely get the mussel dish on their appetizer list. It's a must. Ate here 3 out of the 4 nights we stayed in the area. Will be back!

Corvo is by far the best sit down dinner in East Haddam. The food quality is great. The service is spectacular. You can tell that the staff here takes pride in what they do and that they want you to have a good experience. It’s family owned and operated. We love stopping by for dinner. And we had a great experience here for our rehearsal dinner last year. I’d definitely go here if you’re looking for a nice dinner out in town.
