My wife and I stayed in the the RV park area with full hookups, electric, water, sewage and wifi included for $500 a month for two months. This was the best deal that we could find in the area. The Wi-Fi was excellent. And we loved the four-room bathhouse that is available on site. We walked down to the river which is on the property on a regular basis. And the owner is an excellent host and is very helpful. We highly recommend Copper John's. We truly enjoyed our stay!

We stayed in the Zoo Cougar cabin for three nights. It’s super easy because they give you a code for the cabin door. The location couldn’t be better for fishing and relaxing on the river.
The cabin has a loft with two beds, and two bedrooms downstairs. The beds are comfortable. There are two AC units, which keep it comfortably cool. The kitchen is pretty much fully stocked. We only had to buy charcoal for the outdoor grill. There are huge trees on the property, providing lots of shade. I will definitely be back for a longer stay.
It’s not fancy. It’s affordable and a good value. It has everything we need.

I stayed here late May, 2025, & what a place to stay! Great location on the White River. Lots of birds/wildlife. Great views. I recommend staying in cabin 4 or 5 right down on the water. I stayed in 4, & 5 is next door. Both are great locations on the river. Also, shower water was warm. Multiple toilets. Bathrooms were in pretty good condition. Bed was comfortable. TV with different channels was in the room, & it worked great. It’s near a restaurant, Gaston’s, which served good food. Outstanding. 2 thumbs up.

We were in site #22 with our motorhome from May 17th thru May 24th and only great things to say about Adam and the team at Copper John’s! Very quiet resort, easy going in & out, parking was on a very level site, and was very close to the White River. Bathrooms and showers are kept very clean and they even had shampoo & body wash available in each shower. While we were there we did have 3 or 4 nights with heavy rain & thunder, but the days were very comfortable weather. Our son made several trips to the Fly & Tackle shop at Copper John’s as well & they were well stocked. If you want to you can even walk to the Bull Shoals White River State Park (maybe a 1/4 mile away) and rent a boat or kayak (very reasonable prices). Thank you Adam & team for a very enjoyable week!

We had a great experience, once again, on the White River. Adam was great when we encountered weather-related issues with our cabin and got us situated in a new one right away. Rustic but a perfect location, especially when covered in fresh snow.

Copper John's RV Park is by far the best experience I have had at an RV park. The new owners have worked tirelessly to make improvements to the resort and it is well-maintained. Check-in was easy and the resort owner ensured my stay was very comfortable, even sending out an electrician when I lost power to the inverter in my RV. Everyone I encountered at the resort was very friendly and it felt like a small community. The RV sites are extra large with plenty of room for a big rig and your boat. The views of the river are amazing and it's really quiet at night. I had the privilege of experiencing the resort during all 4 seasons and it never loses its beauty. I highly recommend Copper John's Resort!

Adam was an amazing host. I was on the fence as an out of stater renting a trout lodge on a river I had never been to but was convinced by the owner to give it a try. I rented white river lodge 2. The interior was massive and used to be a conference room for the old newlands fly lodge. Needless to say it was more than what my wife and I needed at a pretty good rate, with beds for 6 people. There were modern appliances such as laundry dryer etc and a nice bathroom and fully furnished kitchen and large tv.
The lodge had a shared pier and a view of the water a short walk away. Tons of trout just off the lodge, though a boat would help even more. I caught 3 decent trout in 3 days, however most people who boated caught much more. People caught browns and rainbows off the bank and dock. This place is right at the beginning of the retention area for trout, meaning that as of 2025, you could keep trout and use bait in the area. I fished corn and shad, worms got bites but were much less succesful. Amazing fishing and cool view of the water. I saw eagles and water snakes (not cottonmouths thankfully). You could see massive fish jump at sunrise and sunset. If I am ever back in Arkansas I will 100% come again and rent from Adam.

Stayed a night here with some friends for one of my best friends birthday. Perfect spot to get away for a weekend. CLose enough to town if you need anything but far enough away for peace and quiet. Was definitely nice camping by the river and doing some trout fishing. Will definitely be back!
