This place is wonderful and the hosts are amazing people. I came here dealing with some of the worst of my own mental health struggles, and during the whole time, I was treated with kindness, patience, and respect. The place is beautiful- a fantastic hot tub, beautiful outdoor trails throughout, and if you’re lucky, there’s a spectacular massage therapist who is there sometimes. The food is excellent, they have great musical experiences, and I can’t say enough good things about this place. Thanks to Rich and Bobby for creating such a sacred retreat.

This has to be the most relaxing place I have ever been to. The owners Bobby and Rich together with their son and Andrew are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I arrived a visitor and left feeling like family. Roll on next October when I’ve already booked to go back

This is a men’s retreat with a strong focus on building friendships and connections. All too often men are isolated from each other because of systemic homophobia. The core mission of the ranch, according to documentation hanging inside, is to help break down those barriers, regardless of sexual orientation or sex at birth. So long as you identify as male, you are welcome.

I went for one day. The road getting to the ranch from the town could be considered a level zero Trail. You want to make sure your car is in good shape before heading out.

It’s a ranch so you should expect uneven ground, and things to be spread out. I am mobility impaired, and while I was able to get around with my cane, I was unable to get around with my walker or wheelchair. Because it is a private men’s only retreat clothing is optional, including in the pool and hot tub areas. For people that want to take nurturing and brotherhood to the next level, there are designated areas for that aside from the rooms that are able to be rented for the night, which are not in public view.

The staff was as accommodating as possible, and very friendly. The buffet was simple but amazing in flavor and portions. The other people at the ranch were also extremely friendly and welcoming. I had a great time, and my friends that were able to take full advantage of all the amenities hadn’t even better time.

I highly recommend this place as a spot to reflect, grow, and enjoy both nature & to nurture your relationship with male friends.

Incredible time spending the Christmas weekend. I went solo but everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I had an amazing time. The owners are absolutely THE BEST. I even won the 70s retro Christmas costume contest and sang Karaoke for the first time ..twice...in my 62yrs! This is really a special place
I can't wait to visit again and plan on making at least one visit at Christmas an annual tradition. It was the best Christmas I had in over 20yrs...usually spent alone. Oh...and the food was fantastic too! I highly recommend.

I brought my tent and camped, but the rooms all look nice. The staff made me feel very welcome and I had a great time of healing, fellowship and fun. The pool and jacuzzi were nice and clean and the restaurant food was great. I can't wait to return.

I met some friends at Copper Cactus Ranch Men's Retreat, and we stayed in the Windmill Room last week. It was a great getaway, and we were able to make some good memories. I really liked this place and enjoyed staying there. It is cabin style and rustic. The landscape is beautiful, and the retreat is nestled in a canyon which makes the night sky light up.

I liked this place because it was a safe place for me to be myself without judgement. I shared many great conversations with the guests and owners. It was cool because I got to talk to guys that I normally wouldn’t. The owners are also very kind and hard working. They are passionate about what they do, and they are creating community. It was cool to find a place so accepting.

They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Jamoke on Saturdays which was a blast and I wish I knew more karaoke. I also loved the grounds, and they have some great hiking. Gorgeous scenery, very quiet, and set back in the mountains for privacy. I enjoyed the hot tub a lot. I would recommend Copper Cactus Ranch to all my friends.
