The food was absolutely delicious—our French toast and meat lovers omelette were both flavorful and generously portioned. You definitely get a lot of food for the price. The customer service was top-notch; everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. On top of that, the ambiance was cool and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal. Highly recommend!

Food was good! The perfect buttered, sourdough toast! Perfectly toasted! The sausage patties were amazing! Try the chili verde omelette, the sauce is great! Service could have been better, we waited too long to get coffee, it felt like it was watered down. After we had a cup of coffee at the table, other waitresses did come by often to refill it… before our own waitress even came to greet us and ask us to take the order. Bathroom was clean, but it’s a one stall bathroom, so prepare yourself accordingly.

WOW WOW WOW!! This is probably the best Ruben I have ever had, to top that I had a Monte Christo too and it was AMAZING!!! I will eat here again every time I am in Bakersfield!

Iconic Bakersfield Breakfast place that continues to serve unchanged. You can’t get this with out Quality Food !! Great place to check out if your new to Bakersfield of your not new to Bakersfield then you already know this place. Table top and menu advertising is still alive and well. Makes you wonder why this practice stopped almost entirely.
It’s the Old School Log Cabin Diner feel. No music but people chatting and having a good visit!
Don’t miss it truly a classic !

Knotty Pine is Bakersfield famous! I've been here many times and it's always the same quality. It has that old school diner vibe, and it's always packed because it's great! The portions are huge, and I haven't tried anything I didn't like. I ordered the T-bird sandwich, which has real roasted turkey not deli meat. My mom got the fish and chips.
