We’re working to electrify our house, and Compass installed two Mitsubishi heat pumps and an LG heat pump water heater as part of that project. From the start, we were impressed by their depth of experience—something that really stood out compared to other companies who seemed newer to installing heat pumps.

Mike (the owner) took the time to listen to our needs and put together thoughtful, well-planned proposals. Scott coordinated everything and made sure the project stayed on track. Mike (the installer) did excellent work and showed great attention to detail. Everyone we interacted with at Compass was not only professional and knowledgeable, but also genuinely kind and easy to work with.

The systems have been working great—even through some bitter cold winter nights—and we're very happy with how everything turned out. If you're looking to electrify your home and cut down your carbon footprint, we’d strongly recommend working with Compass.

Mike and his son at Compass were both absolute bosses! Got us a new furnace and installed it for a great price! They ran new pipe, new media air filter and removed everything from the old furnace. I looked for a couple of years for someone to install an all-electric heat pump system to replace my aging HVAC. I wanted a heat pump to reduce my natural gas usage, and most of the companies I received bids from would only do dual fuel and/or didn’t have experience with all-electric systems. It took me a while, but I finally found owner Mike through an electrification Facebook group and he is the real deal—experienced and dedicated to heat pump systems. The installer, another Mike, was just as enthusiastic as Mike G about heat pumps. My system (ducted Mitsubishi with electric resistance backup) is up and running, and I’m very happy. Props also to Dominic who helped with installation. Financing was easy.

Mike and his company are as easy to work with as it gets. They were communicative, professional, excellent work, and a fair price. I've had my Daikin Fit system for a little over a year now and it has made quite the difference in both cost/efficiency to run, and my home is more comfortable with an even temperature throughout the house. We have been using Compass for 15 years and have been very satisfied. This year we had some home renovations done and then experienced issues with our A/C. These guys made multiple trips out, stayed for hours to figure out what the issue was and even worked with our contractor to get it right. These guys are the best! Tyler just fixed my A/C on a horribly hot day. They have always been available and gotten the job done when we have had an emergency. I totally recommend them and also recommend doing the maintenance agreement.

Overall very good experience, but the job ended up taking well over 8 hours, which was a bit much. Also, I was told that they would vacuum after they finished, but none of that was done. I’m an admittedly picky client, so I’m tough to please. Overall, they did great work & I have a nice, new Daikin AC with a wonderful 12 year warranty!
