We have stayed at this location before. They continue to keep their high standards for comfort and cleanliness. When I arrived since I had prepaid for my room, my information was verified and I was handed the keycard for my room. Felt just like home. The hall carpeting seems to have been updated and everything was fresh and clean. The bath towels are huge! Our king bed was very comfortable and a good choice of pillows.|It was nice to have extended breakfast hours for the weekend. We love being able to sleep in. The 2 choices of waffles was a new experience too.|My only request is if the cleaning lady could wait to mop the lobby until after breakfast hours. The smell of Pine-Sol while you are eating sausage gravy and biscuits does not mix well. I can appreciate that they have a lot to do in a small amount of time but it would make dining more pleasant.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. The front desk staff were excellent. When I needed whatever, they provided. Check in and out was easy. No complaints. Breakfast wasn't bad either

Positive: The bed was comfortable. Negative: The breakfast was minimal, more options would be nice. The coffee in the breakfast area was instant coffee. We needed to wash our clothes, but the vending machine was out of laundry detergent. The overall customer service was not existent.

My husband and I checked in about 2:30 on 7-1-2024 (our 47th anniversary) planning to stay 2 nights. We went out not long after and he began to feel bad. It got so bad that we decided to go back to the hotel and to just check out and return home. When I told the young man (I wish now I had gotten his name) at the desk he immediately said "let me make a call". He did and came back saying that we would get a full refund. I had not even thought about asking. You can bet the next time we have the opportunity we will for sure stay at this Comfort Suites in Florence, Alabama. A very nice and friendly young man and I sure hope he loves his job? because he is really good at it.

Underlying smell of mildew in the building so the air fresheners were really strong which gave us a headache. Otherwise the room was clean and quiet.

The room was very clean! This hotel was super convenient to alot of things near by! Walmart many restaurants to choose from! The elevator made me nervous so I used the stairs during our stay. Pull out bed was not comfy at all
